Venus: 29 Winners, 12 Unforced Errors and Served 70%. She has completed a prediction I made eight years ago that she would dominate Wimbledon.

Congratulations to Marion Bartoli for a great tournament!

NO ONE will beat Venus Williams playing with those numbers! I hope she can carry on this kind of tennis throughout the summer leading into the Open!

Exactly! Shows just how WELL Bartoli played to get those 5 games. Venus was on fire and Bartoli really did test her at times. If Venus wasnt such an amazing athlete with an amazing ability to get to balls and return them with venom, the score would have been much, much closer!

On Grass, Venus is the best in the world. On Clay, Henin is the best in the world. When Serena is on her game, she can beat Venus on grass and Henin on Clay. On Hard Court, Serena Rules,

And she didnt let up even when she was affected by the leg. The lady was just so confident. She knew Marion would take advantage if she even so much as blinked. She also knows how much a win from the grave (after being written off as basically dead and buried....not for the first time in her great career) will shut up people like Mary Carillo who even had the nerve to question the injury. It was so obvious that Venus was favouring that leg at the start of the second set. You could even see it on her face.

I've been very impressed with her low unforced errors in those 4 matches. The bottomline is when Venus keeps her unforced errors down, her opponents don't have a chance. It's a fact that even her haters can't deny.

Just great to see her finally remember how to play her A game. If her body can hold up, I actually don't see her having any problems transferring her dominance onto the summer hard courts.

12 UE'S:eek: over double the amout of winners

if she can keep these numbers going into the US Open...she WILL WIN...its all a question of tranferring these numbers, her performances and confidence onto the hardcourts..if this injury is only a niggle and she can stay injury free through these tournies, i dont see why she wont be a favourite going into US Open..she has the confidence and when venus is confident...she can do anything

She looked unbeatable as usual on centre court. She's grass' answer to Henin...or is it the other way around...
