She said "what's wrong with her? She looks great!" Typical hater!
Carillo has already questioned Venus' InjuryBijoux0021 Jul 7th, 2007, 02:27 PM She said "what's wrong with her? She looks great!" Typical hater! Jasmin Jul 7th, 2007, 02:30 PM I swear those people are so obvious with why they don't really like the sisters deep down. M2k Jul 7th, 2007, 02:31 PM ...well it seemed like it came out of nowhere, I wonder if it happenned during one of the rallies. wheee! people doing the wave! :bigclap: Jean-Pierre. Jul 7th, 2007, 02:32 PM She's moving fine, nothing wrong with her. Jasmin Jul 7th, 2007, 02:33 PM Like any williams fan would listen. Look I'm also a Jelena fan but it's too bad that you have hate or whatever. gmokb Jul 7th, 2007, 02:36 PM To hell with Carillo, is she a doctor? Come on Vee, just bear the pain and hold, that's all you need to do, don't need any more breaks. venus_rulez Jul 7th, 2007, 02:37 PM Ok, she said it obviously joking. She meant that besides whateveri njury Venus might have, she was still playing very well. Come on people! Dawn Marie Jul 7th, 2007, 02:38 PM Mary hates herself. So she likes to distort. She should work for the Bush administration. Andrew Laeddis Jul 7th, 2007, 02:38 PM She's moving fine, nothing wrong with her. if she wasnt feeling pain i doubt she would call for a trainer being up 6-4,3-0. Bijoux0021 Jul 7th, 2007, 02:42 PM ...well it seemed like it came out of nowhere, I wonder if it happenned during one of the rallies. wheee! people doing the wave! :bigclap: If you were watching the match and both players closely, you could clearly see in Venus' face that she was hurting. She was grimacing and walking gingerly, especially after those very long rallies. By the way, this is her 4th match in 4 days. So it wouldn't be a surprise if she has some type of injury given how physical a player Venus is. Bijoux0021 Jul 7th, 2007, 02:45 PM if she wasnt feeling pain i doubt she would call for a trainer being up 6-4,3-0. Exactly! Why would Venus slow down her own momentum when she was leading by a set and 3-0? nhissan Jul 7th, 2007, 02:46 PM To hell with Carillo, is she a doctor? Come on Vee, just bear the pain and hold, that's all you need to do, don't need any more breaks. :worship: plantman Jul 7th, 2007, 03:06 PM Wow! Make a mountain out of a mole-hill! I think Mary was just surprised to see Venus call the trainer as she appeared to be playing wonderful tennis. Perhaps she missed the small grimace on Venus's face! :) darrinbaker00 Jul 7th, 2007, 03:07 PM Both ladies have played A LOT of tennis the past four days, boys and girls. The "injuries" both suffered are from fatigue; they'll both be fine by Tuesday. plantman Jul 7th, 2007, 03:16 PM Both ladies have played A LOT of tennis the past four days, boys and girls. The "injuries" both suffered are from fatigue; they'll both be fine by Tuesday. What happens on tuesday? darrinbaker00 Jul 7th, 2007, 03:18 PM What happens on tuesday? Nothing. I'm just saying that there's nothing wrong with either player that a couple of days' rest won't cure. plantman Jul 7th, 2007, 03:20 PM Nothing. I'm just saying that there's nothing wrong with either player that a couple of days' rest won't cure. Thanks......Thought I was missing something!:) starin Jul 7th, 2007, 03:23 PM Venus was still limping after she won. She was limping when she was carrying the trophy around. Hopefully its nothing serious and she can get better soon. Rex59 Jul 7th, 2007, 03:24 PM Ridiculous comment and observation from Mary C. Venus started to either cramp or pull a muscle after playing 4 straight days. She was obviously breathing hard and laboring in the 2nd set as a result of a lot of playing. The same held true when Novak retired against Nadal today after playing 9 sets of matches over a 9 hour period. The body is saying "I need a break". lizchris Jul 7th, 2007, 03:24 PM I don't think Venus was injured all that bad. Like someone said, she has played four matches in four days,so she was probably hurting a little AND she is playing Fed Cup next weekend, so the strapping was probably a precaution. VS Fan Jul 7th, 2007, 03:27 PM Venus played 3 matches in 25 hours in 2001, but she was much younger then. Pilot Pen which she won! Nickk Jul 7th, 2007, 03:30 PM Who cares if the injury was for real? Marion also took an injury time-out, perhaps to slow down Vee's momentum. It's an eye for an eye. Venus just tried to slow down Marion slowing down her momentum. Or they actually did have minor problems. In any case, those "injuries" weren't decisive.:wavey: Bijoux0021 Jul 7th, 2007, 03:32 PM Ok, she said it obviously joking. She meant that besides whateveri njury Venus might have, she was still playing very well. Come on people! No, she was not joking. And it wasn't so much she questined her injury. It was the tone of voice she used...Like she must be faking or something. darrinbaker00 Jul 7th, 2007, 03:38 PM No, she was not joking. And it wasn't so much she questined her injury. It was the tone of voice she used...Like she must be faking or something. Oh, PLEASE stop. Venus was up 6-4, 3-0, and she was running down everything Marion Bartoli threw at her; I was wondering the same thing when Ted Robinson said she called for a trainer. Kunal Jul 7th, 2007, 03:43 PM shit will keep on coming out of carillos mouth plantman Jul 7th, 2007, 03:44 PM Oh, PLEASE stop. Venus was up 6-4, 3-0, and she was running down everything Marion Bartoli threw at her; I was wondering the same thing when Ted Robinson said she called for a trainer. I guess Ted will be labeled a "hater" next! Hashim. Jul 7th, 2007, 03:46 PM :ras: WF4EVER Jul 7th, 2007, 04:02 PM Too bad Serena has already dropped that bomber on Michael Stich. I've been concerned about Venus' movement since the Kuzzie match and said so in the result thread. The damn wrap made her look more uncomfortable than before she had it on. Just glad she could close it out quickly and not let Bartoli back into the match. | |
