Why is it that when Serena beat Justine, there were no fights on the board. Justine fans were gracious in defeat. Serena fans appreciated the fact that they'd seen a nice tennis match. There was no gloating, everyone was being nice, Justine and Serena fans alike.

Yet when Justine beat Serena, there was so much nastyness on the board, childish threads popped up everywhere. All Justine did was win a match and every little thing she did was attacked.

Now that she lost, the same trolls are gloating.

And the same Henin fans are once again gracious in defeat.

Why is that?

What's with the childish gloating?

Welcome to WTAWorld. It's quite the norm more than it is of the unusual whenever the Williams get beaten. You only noticed it now is what I'm confused about.

Because
No one beats SERENA FUCKING WILLIAMS.

But to WS fans, not all are stupid and dumb.
Some are really nice.

Do you actually read the forums? Henin fans were FAR from gracious when Serena lost. There was a massive amount of gloating, not to mention her fans calling Serena a fake, a cheat, unsportsmanlike, clinically obese, etc. So don't even spew that bullshit. This comes from both sides so don't even try to blame Serena fans for the childishness that inhabits this forum. Every fanbase has members like this and it's extremely irritating seeing people like you blindly point the finger at one group. If you haven't noticed, Serena fans aren't the only ones relishing Marion's victory. It's a huge upset and one can't help but feel excited about it.

But no, lets blame the "Williams Fans" for the ignorance. Typical.

I'm blaming certain trolls. I wouldn't call them fans of anyone or anything. Fan is too positive a word, these trolls aren't tennis fans.

I just don't get how the board was nice when Serena bt Justine, but nasty when Justine bt. Serena. I don't get it.

Actually, when Justine beat Serena at Roland Garros there really wasn't much fighting.
And to be honest, it doesn't just take one fan base to start the arguments.

From the few comment si have seen from henin fans they are being far from gracious. 2 said they don't think they will support her anymore.

r u kidding me? did you see all the nastiness being shot toward Serena the last few days.
I said this before, I really didn't think Justine fans were saying much but there were tons and tons of people talkign so much smack about Serena. Saying Serena was faking, she was using gamesmanship. Serena is a horrible person blah blah blah. ALso did you see that brilliant thread that said Serena has the worst form ever. lol. come on. open your eyes. People always say WS fans are the worst but the sisters get bashed on a lot. You just don't see it cuz probably you don't pay attention to those threads.

Its the media. It creates the hate campaign. We listened to Mcenroe and Michael Stitch - whatever the spelling.

Welcome to the WTA World "Minefield" that is called General Message Boards.

Seriously, there are nice Justine and Serena fans in here. They're the one who makes the "peace" in here. Unfortunately, nothing is perfect - there are some of them who decides that "war" is the only solution. When a Serena fan "throws a gernade" at Justine's fans (and vice versa), they'll retaliate... and that's why you see all those hates and nastyness in here (I won't give names, but you know who you are).

There will never be a "ceasefire" in here, unless a miracle happens. And that you will have to wait.... a long, long time :help:

Tine, you must of missed all those "Serena wasn't injured" threads.

There was plenty of gloating, you just have a very selective memory. ;)

and blaming Williams fans for every rude comment in Non-Tennis is soooo 2002.

Just as long as you are not insinuating that it is only Serena or Williams fans doing this or that when Serena loses, this board doesn't go crazy- look just how many posters were being idiotic the past few days. If it was Serena today the board would have been much worst believe that(and not all would have been Justine fans). And if Marion beats Venus, you will see how many ridiculous threads pop up- its the name of the game here, you either ignore or join in

You mean calling the "Justine can't beat Serena off-clay" bullshit is now gloating? Funny, because I don't remember a lot of Justine fans saying the same sort of stupid shit about Serena? There are trolls in every fanbase for sure but the sisters seem to attract a lot of them. My personal gloating in threads is only directed towards the moronic fans anyway.

Can't we just be happy for Marion....this has nothing to do with sista's.
Just appreciating the fact that marion gave some good asswhopping in the 3rd set.....appreciate
