I think this one of the best Wimbledon´s I´ve ever seen besides the rain. Great battles on the men´s and women´s side.
Just  when I think of Venus-Morigami, Venus-Sveta, Serena-Daniela, Justine-Bartoli, Venus-Ivanovic, Nadal-Youzhny, Nadal-Soderling, Nadal-Berdych, Djokovic-Bagdatis, Roddick-Gasquet should I go on?

I have never sat so much behind my tv-screen than at this slam. Venus and Nadal winning Wimbledon would make this Wimbledon perfect.

HELL YEAH!!

I was convinced that Henin and Roddick would win easily, so much so that I put all my vCash on them. I almost feel like I've been spoilt by the tennis gods.

Great matches... Djorkovic/Baghdatis 5-hour epic... Gasquet unexpectedly coming from 2-sets and a break down against A-Rod... Of course, Bartoli pulling off one of the biggest upsets in recent years... The only disappointment for me was Ana losing; she always brightens up every tournament she plays in, and this tournament won't be the same without her...

thats true...but she just didnt show up today...hell not just today...she goes from worst to best in all her matches...and needs to settle that down...she barely moves during games...and once facing a match points she starts to play...boohoo too late. But who would have thought after terrible start of the year that she will make a FINAL and SEMIFINAL at GS...specially after getting baggeled from Bammer and losing to Shvedova...i know i didnt...but i'm happy for her cause soon she will have a slam in her hands!

True... She just lost to the more experienced and better grass-court player - and Venus played some exceptional tennis... But, it's still amazing what she's achieving at only 19... The future is certainly bright for the world number 5...!

Not in the first 12 games...! From the tie-break onwards, then that is just totally unfathomable how anyone could play with that mentality and attitude in a GS quarter-final... Unbelievable...

I have to agree with you there

Wimbledon this year has just been terrific. despite the bad weather we still had excellent quality tennis & to cap it off we had the amazing run of venus into her 6th final & marion's upset of justine. I was so surprised this morning when i found that marion had won.

Wimbledon is the No.1 tournament in the world by all means :yeah:
