Explanation: The "race" is a year-long competition to see who is best at picking WTA tour event winners. Like the tour, the "Race" continues right up to the WTA finals. Come and join the "Race to the Chase":)
Congrats to Serena, her fans, and those who voted for her:) Despite not earning the most points at Wimbledon,Arantxa's #1 Fan(now ASV) remains on top for the 5th week in a row. ASV consistently earns points. Her competition is getting closer though!
Petosp had a great Wimby and is only 2 points back. Watch your behind, ASV;)
5 of 26 entries predicted Serena would win. The most popular final, a Venus-Serena combo, got a lot of points, but most fans wrongly went with Venus. MBoyle was the wimbledon edition leader, with 90 points. Well done MBoyle:wavey:
Let me know if I made an error adding your points, and look for draws to this weeks events.

That's ok Joao, you had company. 6 out of 20 scored no points at all. Congrats are due to Casanova, Diaz-Oliva, and Wartusch:)
The 20 was the lowest entry this year, probably a post-Wimbledon letdown. All og the points came from Casanova, Zvonerova, and Sanchez, with no one getting either finalist at Casablanca.
ASV, who holds on to the top spot for 6 straight weeks, barely leads now. ASV picked ASV in Brussels-giving her a one point edge over Petosp.......Saki picked up the most points this week(4)and moves into the #3 position.
Below are updated points. The "Race" takes a rest during Fed Cup week, see you back in a week when the US Open season begins in earnest:wavey:
