http://www.wtnphotos.com/data/505/fullj_getty-73851080al020_family_circle_6_54_59_pm.jpg

After capturing one title on one of her best surfaces, Venus Williams says she is ready to compete on the clay. She has been training in Florida since her early exit from the Australian Open.

"I'm ready to play, what can say. My game is what it is going to be on clay this year so I am ready for the season and hope that I can get some points to remain a top player in the league."

Myskina back to the US

After 2 weeks of playing tournaments, Anastasia Myskina returns to the US where she trained before she made her debut. She trained hard and arrived early to Amelia Island to train on the green clay."I mean, why the f*ck does this surface even exist. It's f*cking the same as the f*cking red clay. (furtherly censored). She doesn't see any difference. For me, all the surfaces are the same.I don't see big changes.I just like red clay more, because orange is my favourite colous."It's the same as potato and tomato.Only 1 letter isn't the same and it comes out a whole different thing. Both is a vegetable though." But anyway, Myskina is looking forward to this tournament!

Anastasia will play Flavia Pennetta in the first round, at last a tournament where she's not close to Dechy. They will meet in the semis, so that's kinda late.Dechy is in form after winning the Australian open, and Myskina feels some respect to her.But just a little. But one thing she knows. That, a week before the Australian open, Dechy lost the first round on purpose, just that she wouldn't have to play Myskina in the second rounds. But anyway, let's go on.Myskina wants to say that she congratulates Dechy, that she finally won a tournament- but not any kind of tournament - a Grandslam. But the French will be Myskina's offcourse ( ) ˇˇ

http://data1.blog.de/blog/u/ultimativefemales/img/myskina06.jpg
Myskina after winning RG in 3 weeks.

When she came here, offcourse Myskina had too acknowledge everyone she arrived, and had a photoshooting, just that everyone sees her beauty.Plus, she is known by loving horses, so she had the wish to ride a horse, naked...and the wish came true.

Lourdes Struggles to show her form
http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r203/takako_moriyama/LourdesDomginuezLino.jpg
Dominguez Lino def. Kirilenko 6-7(5) 6-2 7-5

After falling out of the top 10 after being there for two weeks, Lourdes Domginuez Lino Overcame a very strong Maria Kirilenko. Who defeat her in 2 hours and 30 minuts

"i wasnt there, i wasnt at the court, My backhand and serve were letting me down, i was getting very arrogant towards myself, Its dissapointing."

The first set, Lourdes was struggling, and Maria was playnig her game. But Lourdes looked like she was lacking alot of concentration, and was commititng to much unforced errors, but when i came to the Tie break she was leading 5-2, but never took the oppurtunities, hittin 2 unforces errors of her backhand wing, And Maria Ended up winnign 7-6(5)

"i was dissapointed, i mean I had a respectfull lead, and Clay is my favourite surface, but i wasnt moving enough"

The second set, Lourdes was playing a little better, but Maria was dropping her game. it looked as if Maria was falling under the pressure, versing someone who is a much higher ranked person then her. But still was commiting to much unforced errors, But was lucky and won the set 6-2

"i was a bit more confident after this set, But i was dealing to much unforced errors, My backhand was shocking, i couldnt apply top-spin But had to slice it half the time"

The thirs set, Maria was strong, and wouldnt back down, But Dominguez Lino was a much more experienced player on the clay, and was approching the net, with the short slice volley

"well a win is a win, Im glad im made it through the second round, after 2 first round losses, I need a win"

Lourdes Dominguez Lino and her Pratner Tamarine Tanasugarn Won both the first round and Quaters in Doubles Defeating a top seed, and now versing There close friends Stosur/Golovin, With Stosur Swapping partners Because Shiavone was slacking off, and Not putting her fare shair of the deal

"well Im happy, Semi's in doubles is something to smile about, But now lets hope i do well"

"it was a difficult match, i had to conentrate on being aggresive, or she would coem out and hit the winner, and forcing me to do an error"

The first set, it looked as if though Lourdes Was falling under the pressure with Her trademark backhand not being at her best. but the rest of her game was as if it were a normal mach, But when Lourdes needed to serve to stay in the match, She fell under the pressure, And Iveta jumped when she got the set 6-4.

"i was just so happy, i was playing my best tennis, Iveta was strong and i wanted to win this match. I mean no-body likes loosing, but this match was special to me, because i wanted to reach my first semi-final"

Thethird set wasnt that much different, with Lourdes Breaking Twice, and holding many of her serves to Love. She was out there hitting every ball cleanly, and her backhand was back up to scratch. When she heard to umpire say Game Set Match Lourdes Dominguez Lino She fell to the floor, and tears came out of her eyes. went up and iveta and Lourdes hugged and said "good game"

Tanasugarn happy despite singles loss

AMELIA ISLAND,USA-AP- Thai Tamarine Tanasugarn had one heck of a week on the first clay court tournament of the season, and kicked it off with a bang winning the doubles title with Lourdes Dominguez Lino.

"To win in doubles, gave me a lot of confidence, and after the horrific aussie season, I was ready for a change."

She also made it all the way to the singles final as well.

In her first match she scared Ana Ivanovic so bad that she retired from ATC.

"I didn't mean too," she laughs.

She then defeated 6th-seeded Lucie Safarova 6-4,6-3, in the round of 16.

"After that win,. I knew I was going to at least make the final."

She then upset 3rd-seeded Anabel Medina Garrigues 7-6(5),6-2, sending her home before the final four for the first time ever.

"That was a big match for me, then I knew I could grind on any surface, except Rebound Ace of course."

She then met good friend and doubles partner Lourdes Dominguez Lino, she grinded out a hard fought victory, being a set and 2 breaks down, and eventually match point to win 3-6,7-5,6-4.

Later in the day they won the doubles final over Severine Bremond and Amelie Mauresmo handily 6-4,6-3, without dropping a set.

"It was cool to lift up a trophy for once."

Then came a hard knock in the path the final against tough Frenchwoman Marion Bartoli.

Tammy quickly went down 5-0 in the first set, and managed to break Marion, but got broken in the next game to lose the set 6-1.

The second set, Marion raced to a 4-0 lead, and held a match point at 5-1, which Tammy saved, then saved another one and lost the match in the next game to lost the match,

6-1,6-2.

"I am quite dissapointed to lose, but look at the week I had, it was amazing."
