Ah, bless..this is such a cute thread. Yes it's a zip code, postcode, you get it...it's a area code for that part of London but the actual complete postcode is SW19 5AE which is quite special if the AE is unintentional...look at us, discussing postcodes. Awesome!

It's funny how Wimby is often referred to as SW19...not like any other sporting events/places are named after their postcode!

Its funny how Wimbledon is referred to as wimbledon or the championships as well..i mean the championships could be anything and like all the other grand slams are named after the country it's in i.e French Open Wimbledon isn't even a town....i'ts more of a general area or something
