I really think that this is one of the most exciting wimbledon in years...

We have 5 players with realistic chances of winning this year:

Henin
Serena
Venus
Sharapova
Mauresmo

Many people think that in acual fact its between the top two names and the bottom three have no chance because of their form...i'd say the person in this list with the least realistic chances of winning is Sharapova....this is why

Obviously, henin and Mauresmo are great volleyers...im watching last years final and as much as i dont like henin and mauresmo is not a favourite, i have to smile...both women are serving and volleying and its great to see.....venus isn't far behind them in volleying ability...obviously her reach and approach counts for soo much but her conventional volley is acually prety damn good and that could count for soo much....then theres serena...she has improved her volleys so much and her forehand volley, techincally is great....as i said before she has improved her volleys so much and for both venus and serena, it has given them yet another dimension and like henin last year in the final when her groundies weren't working, if all fails, you can expect serving and volleying.....Sure sharapova has good approach shots and a very good drive volley...but what would happend if she's forced to hit 3 to 4 volleys?? also movement-wise venus is one of the quickest and covers so much court...serena, henin and mauresmo are soo quick as well and serena will move better on grass than on clay...sharapova's movement is questionable so that will be another factor in the outcome of the tournie...i dont know about you guys but i can't wait until this starts...

Hopefully the players you mentioned come out strong. In addition to those champions, rising stars like Jankovic, Ivanovic, Safarova, and Chakevetadze should provide some great competition as well.
