It seems like every week through the clay and grass season (more so the grass season than the clay) there is issues with the weather and its really pissing me off. Something needs to be done about the schedule so that these tournaments are held at a better time. Im sick of all these rain delays, for gods sake get a roof or a few not only for the players but the fans. Im just really sick of all of these tournaments starting on like a Wednesday, something just needs to be done. OK Rant over :o

What do you think they're doing at Wimbledon?

The weather in Britain is unpredictable, you can have rain, thunderstorms and scorching heat in one day! Whatever time of year you hold a tournament in Britian the weather is going to disrupt it.

A few rain delays is better than making players play in 40C heat, which puts their health at risk.

One roof isnt going to do much they need at least 2 or 3 to make it effective.

consider it "the european charm" :p
Just 10 minutes ago, it felt like there would be a hurricane here. FLOODING rains twirling wind, ... and now, sun is shining brightly, no clouds.

You know, if you're bored with this weather. i once read a very interesting article on how weather (variability) influences a culture, a population, a sense of humour.
It was ever so intereting! If you could google it and post it we'ld have something to do :p :p

yea that's true...at least the 3 big courts but I think only centre court and court 1 can have roofs so at least put roofs on those courts

We can't all have weather like Australia. But even at the Australian Open there can be rain delays.

Or players being forced to play in dangerously high temperatures.

People just like to complain.

Stop complaining about rain delays, it's just the way the weather is in Great Britain. And it's not like every tournament has money to build '2 or 3 roofs'. Rain delays are a part of this sport so deal with it :o
You all seem to complain even more that the players do :o Something isn't right here
