Would be amazing if Zi Yan could win, but I think Garbin will win like 6-3,3-6,6-4.

But let's see, there are chances for Zi definitley :yeah:

I think Garbin is one of the most likely seeds to get knocked out. Zi seems to like the grass, and Garbin not so much.

Garbin has a horrible record on grass and Yan has just qualified so my money would be on Yan. That said, I've never understood why Garbin has such an awful record on grass. Her game looks to me like it should do alright on the surface.

She got into R2 in Berlin and Rome. She got a few more than 100 points I think it was from both tournaments ;)

but it's sad to see her ranking is still arond 190s  had she ALLOWed to play some lower tiers, she could be top 100 or almost right now.

Well, grass is not really Tax's best surface (:tape: ) but I'd like so much if she could win. She's worked specifically for that surface, so it'd be great if it could pay off!

She says her main problem is how to move on grass. But she tried to fix it lately. Hopefully....

I do too, but she makes a lot of mishit errors, at least early in the match. You might say "flubs". I haven't seen her play singles - actually I'd love to - but I can't picture a power game so it has to be won on smarts and finesse.

Good luck, Zi! :D
