Anybody wants to tip who is going to be this year's Wimbledon winner?

My choices for women are: Justine Henin or Jankovic. Even though i would like to see my country women Nicole Vaidisova winning, but that won't happen yet. Maybe next year?!

My choices for men are: Roger Federrer (again my favorite one would be Tomas Berdych, but he needs to work on his psychical abilities)

Let me know your tips!

Hello Lenka, For a Czech, your English grammar and vocabulary are pretty good and, despite not knowing how long you've spoken the language,I can make these types of comments due to my ESL teaching experience. However, your intended meaning about Berdych was unclear.'PSYCHIC' is a word but 'PSYCHICAL' is NOT.Did you mean 'PHYSICAL'--as in Tomas's athletic condition? If you were referring to his mind, then you should've written something like 'mental approach' instead of 'psychic'.In English, the word 'psychic' almost always refers to using the demonic spirit world in order to receive secret revelations. --BG

Hi bruce goose,
thank you for your lecture ;)
I will keep it in mind for my next comments and use the "mental" expression instead.

No problem,Lenka. In your defense, your English is vastly better than MY abilities to speak Czech. --BG

Well,Lenka...your two picks,Jankovic and Henin, look pretty good so far.Justine really hasn't faced a highly dangerous opponent yet. She'd probably be terrified of the long, lovely Dushevina in a beauty contest or wrestling match, but this is tennis so she briskly tied up the tall blonde in knots for the third time in their head-to-heads(3-0 lifetime).Jankovic steamrolled a Brit(no surprise)and then smothered the cute Slovak Gajdosova before encountering her first challenge. After some tough back-and-forth,Jelena had SAFarova SAFEly bundled up at the end.Week two is when things get serious so we'll see what happens then. --BG
