I often wonder how do you consider a player is on doping?

Like Sesil K, Mariano P, Guillermo C, etc.

Tennis is a really hard sports that combines technique & mental, and fitness is also a part, although it's not all that (eg: Bartoli nuf said)

I mean come on, even a player is on doping, he or she needs to be really really good. Puerta did not reach the French Open Final with the help of whatever he took, maybe he was having a tournament of his life, same goes for Sesil.

Tennis it's not like Athletics, Swimming, etc, where the stronger you are the better you may be, (eg: Ben Johnson case)

Seriuosly, If Nancy or Brie take some pills or whatever vitamins to make them stronger, it would not help them not to lose 0-6 0-6 to theit oponents. they just suck big time..

What do you guys think???

If it doesnt help them, why risk their careers by taking anything?

Doping isn't just about power, you know. The majority of doping products are there to help athletes recover. E.g. in cycling, the drugs they take aren't muscle builders but drugs boosting their endurance.

When I look at men's tennis and see players still fresh as a bunny at the end of a long 5-setter, I become suspicious.

Doping is not going to make a tennis player a better player, it just helps them stay fresh during long matches.

yeah, very true.

though i doubt it'll help brie, since her matches are like what, 22 minutes? :p

I agree doping would help with endurance, possibly more on the mens side than WTA.

More power might help Brie lose 1-6, 1-6, at least a few games more!
