Well Birmingham got No2 and No 3 in the final and Eastbourne got No1 and No 4.

Which match would you prefer to see???

(Im bored so I thought I would open a poll :p )

Eastbourne...if those two play anything like last year's wimby final

Well as far as what I prefer to see, Sharapova/Jankovic had more intrigue in that they hadn't played in 2 years. In that time JJ became a top player. Of course, Justine/Amelie is never a dull match-up on paper...let's see how the 2 matches compare after it's played.

A rematch of the 2006 Wimbledon final is way more impressive than Birmingham. Ask me who I'd rather watch however and you'd get a different answer.

Maria/Jelena by far.

Defending Wimbledon champ vs. World Number One and Roland Garros Champion.

it's a bit the old versus new generation
but I'd go for last year's wimbledon final!
I think they both have more chance of winning wimbledon than maria & jelena

Exactly. Plus in the Eastbourne final, fans have the rare opportunity to see what real grasscourt tennis is, because BOTH of these two know what to do out there; they don't just play the same game on every surface, bang bang bang. Lucky Eastbourners!

I'd rather watch Jankovic vs. Sharapova

but I think both crowds would think a Henin/Mauresmo final would be better since it's the rematch of the Wimbledon final from last year.

I think that the final in Eastbourne is not going to live up to its hype while Birmingham had some drama with Jelena rallying to win 7-5 in 3rd.
