it seems like Their games are very similar...the only difference is jankovic does everything 175 ranking spots better....if anne was to win i swear i would go to the club and play tennis naked:tape: Jankovic isn't a very aggresive player and in her loses this year, shes either choked (e.g vs henin) or been overpowered (e.g henin rg/ rena)....in the tough matches she won e.g venus nd it also sounds like masha, she just stayed soooo solid and let her opponents commit the mistakes...Keothavong is a consistent player although she has shown us an aggresive side as well this year...the pressure will be piled on jankovic and she hasn't exactly dealt well with pressure...its been fine while shes been on the up since the end of last year and this year but now as the world number three, shes gonna be the overwelming favourite against ever player in the world apart from serena, henin and maybe pova and she'd only be slight favourite against venus i'd say. But shes gonna have soo much pressure on her at wimbledon this year whereas keothavong, playing a top 3 player, now only the brit no.3, will have no pressure on her and hopefully if she can stay solid it could put jelena in a dilemma, either bash brainlessly or stick to playing safe. And with the combined pressure of mental pressure, not playing well at all and they british crowd cheering their own and not cheering her.could she lose?????

please try to put down this hope with the least ridicule:hug:

Okay I didn't read any of that rambling, but Jankovic will lose 3 games at the maximum.

there is absolutely no way anne can beat jj, even if jj played left handed. i wouldn't be surprised if it was 6-0, 6-0

Uhm, dont think she has a serious chance. Maybe she can do 5-6 games.

yeah i know...but think back to wimbly 04 when she battered prattursaurus and then was going toe to toe against the eventual champion; maria sharapova and had chances to break to serve out the match at 4-4 or 4-3 or something but after she choked...the finalist; serena got only one more games than anne...im sure no one expected katie o'brien to get as many games off E.D as she did however badly E.D was playing so i still have hope that if anne goes for it...she could make it a match

She lead Maria 4-3 then the rain fell and she didnt win a game after the break. She also had a good grass court season with a win over Marrero (ranked 60) and lost a close match to Sanchez Lorenzo (6-4 in the third) and took a set off Maleeva at Eastbourne.

Im 100% positive she would have made top 100 that year if she didnt have that injury at Lexington which she is lucky to come back from. She isnt the same player. Its so sad.

I would be happy with 6-2 6-3 to be honest.

If its really bad I think Anne will call it a day - she said last season its a make or break season and she has gone backwards in the ranking. She should have put Paszek and Baltacha away but didnt.
