ALG & Camille will probably win. I wouldn't count Aravane as a grass court clown. She won a match yesterday against Kremer in straight sets, it is just a question of practice in my opinion. She is inconsistent and as the grass season is short, she doesn't have many occasions to shine. In addition, last year, she didn't even have the right shoes. :o :help: I add her on the list.

I doubt ALG can beat Nika even, who plays a similar game to her but will have much more confidence :tape:

normally i would say Pin would beat Patty but the fact that Patty is playing doubles makes me think she might actually be considering not tanking this year.

Camille's groundstrokes should be suited to grass really given how flat they are but i guess her serve is a bit of liability. then again i can it driving Patty crazy.

In the last 3 years at Wimbledon Patty has played Antonella Serra Zanetti twice and now Pin. Probably two of the worst servers ever on tour.

I won't mind so much if Patty loses to Pin anyway because she's a cutie.

Maybe Smashnova can beat Müller :help:

I think that Pin has the best chance. She plays against Schnyder, who is a horrible grass court player. It just doesn't suit her game at all.

Rezai actually has a game suited to grass :tape: she can't win on it

I dont think she has a game that suits grass, because she needs some time to prepare her big shots, if it gets to fast she starts spraying balls (sometimes miles long :o) And because she is not the best mover at all, I think grass is not suiting her.

I wouldnt bet too much money on the likes of Kanepi, Dominguez-Lino and Wozniak also. :p

Kaia won ;)
LDL and WOzniak OUT too

Wozniak said in an article she was completely stolen the match by the referee, she said on SP for her in the first set she made an ace taht the linesman called but the referee changed the decision without even consulting the linesman. The referee also was the same one as the Sprem/Williams match when Venus was stolen the match in the TB.

If you can read in french:

«L'arbitre m'a coûté le match!» - Aleksandra Wozniak
Le Journal de Québec
26/06/2007 09h07
