If you're not thrilled for the tennis fireworks the Williams sisters are setting off at the All England Club this week, well, you're not all red, white and blue.

This weekend, Venus, 22, and Serena, 20, will become the first all-sisters tandem to reach the Wimbledon finals in 118 years. It really doesn't matter who wins when they play Saturday because what the Americans have accomplished is remarkable and worthy of praise. They have been under scrutiny and the target of criticism for years, but they've risen above it to become the two best female tennis players in the world.

Venus and Serena are talented, dynamic and the products of two loving parents.

They don't always play their best tennis when they face each other, and that is natural. I dare say that if the sisters were the hue of Anna Kournikova or Martina Hingis, they would be on the cover of every magazine in America. ...

YOU CAN SAY THAT AGAIN!!!!

It's because Anna and Martina are way better looking. If Venus and Serena looked like Halle Berry, Whitney Houston, Beyonce or Naomi Campbell then they would get even more attention for stuff like magazines.

Ouch! He is so right. By the way Selesrules, when was the last time anyone saw Monica's mug plastered anywhere? For the record Serena is gorgeous and Venus is beautifully elegant out of tennis gear. Stop the hate.

Thanks Mr. Saraceno - Keep... Keeping Score

I do wonder if Anna and Martina/ Martina and Lindsay were the very best of friends, did everything together and in addition their parents were known to hang tight with each other, and they were winning everything in sight with no one seeming to be able to stop them but themselves... would the media, non fans, commentators accuse them of match fixing, and all the other negative crap that is said about Venus and Serena???

Or would they readily acknowledge their individual and collective accomplishments? or constantly seek to belittle them as have some in regards to Venus and Serena?
