View Full Version : I have a fave player again...

Jul 4th, 2002, 04:34 PM
Since the ever wonderous Julie retired Ive nor really had clear fave, rather Ive just vaguely rooted for a group of players, but I guess its time to commit to one...

I feel a bit of regret about doing it as Im usually a jinx, but anyway...

My fave active player is...

Justine Henin. :)

I guess it finaly dawned on me watching her fall to Venus, I really felt for her...and felt stronger about a tennis match than I had in a long time.

Of course Julie HD will always be my all time fave, but nowdays....

Good luck to Justine! :) :) :) Semi finals is a great result in itself, you can go on from here to more and more glory. :)

Not surprised you took Justine but why did it take you so long?
I guess it was the mourning process.
Join the club, Chris Ba. We're always glad to welcome high quality fans (I remember you quite liked Dominique, so that's a proof of your exquisite taste...)

Ill always like Ai, as she was such a good friend and brilliant doubles partner for Julie. :) But Ill never stop missing JHD!

Hagar, yes Dominique was my second fave...sadly she retired at the same time as Julie, which just added to the misery!

WOW, you could have not made a better choice.
We have few things in common Chris. The same first name, and the same favorite player (currently), Justine Henin. :D
