The GOP would love for these two guys to run as independents.

Mayor Bloomberg would not get one GOP vote, he's a former Democrat,
he's in New York City, and he's pushed every liberal agenda idea
he could so far. Go for it.Why not.

Hagel, he's been a diehard RINO for years.
He's made a big announcement months ago that he would 'announce'.
He found out no one liked him in the party to run, he's a dolt.
Like McCain, finding out when you bash the GOP - you get on tv a lot.
When you run against a liberal like Hillary or Obama, you are still
cast as an evil Republican, and tv doesn't like you so much.

Run guys...you'll only get independent liberal leaning votes, and
NYC votes...Do it. Egos need this.

Bloomberg has no money problems in running, he's a billionaire.

Hagel really thought he'd be welcomed as a GOP candidate, but, found
he was persona non grata. He picked up the Lincoln Chafee mantle
long ago - disagree with anything the Republicans put forward.
Being a welcome guest on The Meet The Press show or The Today
Show doesn't mean the public agrees with you, it only means
anti-GOP Republican lawmakers are always welcome on tv.

Jimmy Carter should run. He's bashing Bush all the time,
given Peace prizes, and yet, no one ever mentions his lousy
term in office economically and politically. He was a disaster.
Run Jimmy Run! Take Hillary on!

Unlike the moderate northeast Republican Senators (Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe of Maine, Lincoln Chafee of Rhode Island until his defeat last year, and Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania) Nebraska's Chuck Hagel has a standard conservative Republican voting record on everything except the war in Iraq.
