Hello Steveg, :wavey:

How are you ?
Long time no see.

To answer your question about tennis training camp in Thailand, sorry I still really don't know. Please accept my apologize.

Talking about Tammy's retirement news.
It's stupid. Thairat newspaper always write a stupid things. They often write that Tammy could not reach top 20. But our Tammy did it. :fiery: :fiery:

Please forget it, I pretty sure she is still enjoy playing tennis. :wavey:

Hello Jiro, I am fine thanks. What about you? Still playing tennis over the week-end and seeing Chattida and Napaporn? Do you play sometimes with them now?

For the tennis training camp, no problem :) . My friend eventually went to the Club Med ATP stuff. I understand he quite liked it anyway.

As I said, 3 years is a long time and by then, everyone will have forgotten that article ;) .

Wow--that's a shocker! She hasn't said anything to me! I always assumed that, like many other players, Tammy will play tennis as long as she still enjoys it. Who knows how long/short that will be? Hopefully long like Callens (31 years old) or longer!

Tammy sometimes complains about the Thai media, but compared to the abuse other players receive from their home papers, I think a premature retirement announcement is a drop in the bucket.

I e-mailed her to let her know about it...it will be interesting to hear what she has to say. It's probably like Khun Jiro has said--Thai Rath inventing things to keep readers interested.

You can imagine how a paper could twist something like "Who knows what I'll be doing in three years time", just to make a story.

Tammy won't retire until she's at least won a singles title and reached the quarterfinal (or better) at Wimbledon. Thats what I think anyway. :)

I think you're right, Karen! And as far as I know, she wants to play in the Athens Olympics, so that's at least another 2 years that she'll be playing! ;)

Still no reply from Tammy, but I'll be seeing her in a few weeks when she gets to L.A.

I don't know what she would say to that, but i don't think she is 'definite' about it yet, but i wouldn't say she hasn't thought about it either. I think she would see how things go. Three years is a long time. And i think it's reasonable to be thinking about the future... whatever she chooses to do.

I wish to see her play until she's a hundred though ;)

As long as she says she's enjoying it, I don't think we need to worry about retirement. SHe'll be back, she's too taleneted not to get it together.
