Yes, but it's quite pretty and it's really an interesting place to be. It's really nice if you like wildlife and etc.

Probably because it would be one of the few places she hasnt already been :p Also the conditions might be much like her birthplace ;)

Because Alaska was Russian like more than a century ago and now it's American  It's kind of significant for Russians, I mean everybody know this story how it was sold by Ekaterina the Great etc.

 well she was never a 'city girl' in russia. if not for tennis, big chance she might still be in sochi.

I'm surprised she hasn't been to Hawaii! as she is US-based and nowadays, more of a west coaster...and the fact that she loves beaches.

I've been to Alaska on a cruise. It was quite interesting. Different experience.

I'm surprised she hasn't been to Hawaii too; she looks like the type that would like it there.

Yea I went there a couple years ago and being able to watch some whales was cool.

Ah ic. Did you go to Alaska during the summer or winter?

I was more afraid of getting seasick than us crashing into an iceberg.

No lol...just for the fact that I was seeing huge icebergs. I get a little too dramatic at times. ;)

I think it was March/April when I went.

Ah, I went in June. Still pretty cold but you could probably go out in a T-Shirt everyday. :)

It kind of blows my mind that she's never been to Hawaii.
