Maria Sharapova would play Rome and win it with a stellar perfomance having all her strengths back?

Lol, funny poll.
I think I my reaction would be a combination of option 1 and 3, obviously I would be in shock but also very happy :)

Is Maria going to play Rome ? or even RG or will she make her comeback for the grass season. I really hope she will be back and healthy by Rome or even Istanbul

I really think she will withdraw from Rome as well, I doubt she will be ready in time.
I think she will play Roland Garros because it's a slam, but a real 'comeback' will probably be in the grass season.

Like last year. It's a pity she always get injured at the same period of the year. If she's healthy she can perform quite well on clay, I'm sure about that.
I just hope she finds her true form before Wimbledon cause last year she hadn't fully recovered

I know

But she had two bad US open series as well (2004, 2005) and she kicked ass there in 2006, so maybe next year Maria can start collection some clay trophies

Nothing Maria accomplishes surprises me. She has the ability to win on clay. Two years ago, after beating Rezai at RG, Chris Fowler was dumb enough to as her if she thought she had a chance to win the tournament. She gave him a look like 'what an idiot' and said, "of course I do. Why would I play here if I didn't?"

THAT is Maria Sharapova, and as long as she tries, she will not fail.

I would be a hybrid of 2 and 3... I am not confident that she will get a clay court event.. but sure I would be a hell happy.

Maria can beat most clay players on clay. Beating the TOP clay players (Justine, Kim, Patty etc.) might still be a little difficult. But on a good day...
