Does anyone know when Wilson will name and or officially say and offer these rackets to the common folk?

not sure, I hope its soon though.

I know at the minute they only say in articles that Serena is using a "prototype", so hopfeully it will become a fully fledged racket soon.

yeah tennis warehouse have some of the new K factor rackets, there is one that is very similar to what Venus/Serena use. It is black, but with small amounts of white and green towards the throat.

She's using the nBlade oversize, but Wilson has discontinued that model since it's from the old nCode line. Since they expect sales to go up on whatever racket Serena is using, Wilson blacked out her racket in order to make room for the K-Factor paint job. This disguise fools the public since we might want to buy what she's using. But it's obvious that they can't make money from the limited supplies of that nBlade frame, so I guess Wilson's only answer was to black it out. I think of this as misleading information or false advertising, but I'm sure Wilson doesn't care much about what we think. It's all about profits, not about the fans. (alpinecadet)

Isn't venus in between prototypes? I read here or somewhere that she's still back and forth looking for the right racquet.

WHAT?!!

It is quite obvious that both Serena and Venus are using MIDSIZE/MIDPLUS racquets, not oversize.

no way those racquets' headsizes are beyond 100 Sq (the biggest a midplus/midsize racquet can be)
And, I also think that Venus' racquet's head size is a little bit smaller than Serena's.
I think Serena's is around 97-100...and Venus' is around 97.
Not quite sure though..they could be as small as 95..but, again, i'm not sure.
But, CLEARLY they are not bigger than 100 (and even 100 Sq seems like a stretch).
