Ugly Trophy

What happened to the old punch bowl looking trophy? This new one is hideous.

It could be that this tournament is no longer called Nasdaq-100 Open anymore, so the new sponsor had to change the trophy.

It's now called Sony Ericsson Open, which is what it used to be called years ago before Nasdaq took over.

The match was very entertaining. Of course I'm sad Justine did not close the deal with the two chances she got, but credit is due to those who never give up and these two are the top 2 best women's tennis player right now with Serena with a slight edge. Finally a dramatic match this season and better luck and better nerves next time Justine. :-)

I liked the punch bowl, but this one is alright.

I much preferred the old one, it was one of the best on tour! They had been using it for years and years anyway, before NASDAQ took over when it was the Lipton.
