Also referred to as "A Golden Game" ;)

That means from 0-0 they hit 4 aces or return winners to win the game at love.

I think I remember hearing that Alexandra Stevenson did it in 2002? Not too sure.

Does anyone know?? :)

I'm almost CERTAIN she's done it a few times during that 6-3 6-2 Hingis DEMOLITION at the 2001 US Open

Stevenson is the only one I can remember for sure . But I don't think it was from the very start of the game. If I remember correctly, she was down 0-30 and then hit 4 consecutive aces to take the game.

oh ok aces....i know Serena hit 4 service winners in a row, but I guess that's different  because I know Venus did it too againt Mauresmo @ the 2002 US Open SF to get out of that match.

Sprem almost did it against Maureen Drake at the 2004 Rogers Cup in Montreal! She led 6-1 5-2 and served I think three aces in a row to finish it. My fag bench could help me and confirm this ;)

On the mens Sampras and Goran are certs to have done it at Wimbledon.

Four Aces in a Row:
The most recent one that I know of would be Andy Roddick vs. Lleyton Hewitt during the 2005 AO SF. Andy lost the match though.

The closest I've ever seen would be Venus hitting three aces consecutively in the opening game during the 2002 Wimbledon doubles against Kournikova/Rubin. The commentators were imagining what Venus and Serena were saying during their confidential murmuring. One of them said: Venus (to Serena): Shall I hit another one?
Venus didn't but they took the game anyway after 40-30.

I've seen Venus do it on TV. Of course, that was back when she hit every first serve as hard as she could.
