Monica won wimbledon an impressive 6 times in a row, her first being at age 14 and last year at 33 years old. She also won RG 3 times, lastly in 98 and 98. take that steffi and arantxa. Australian open champ 4 times.

I could live with these numbers. Too bad Monica didn't play the US open until 1997. She surely would have won in her prime. ;)

Arantxa started playing in Wimbly at 9 1/2 and made quarterfinals! She won it twice too.
She also made 4 finals in a row in RG but never won it!:rolleyes:
And she won USO 4 times, made 4 finals and 4 semi finals!:eek:

At age 10 and 11 Bovina reached the 3rd round of Wimbledon and never competed at Roland Garros.

Amelie won the 04 and 05 Australian Open and made the finals of RG those same years. And who said she chokes at RG? She also made the QF at the Australian Open 96-97, 00-03 and made the QF at Wimbledon 97-00. Consistent Results Amelie! I never knew you were so consistent!:D

Who said Sharapova won the US Open last year? She didn't even play there EVER as well as RG. She did make the SF of the Aus Open 02-05 and made the finals in 06. Impressive results Sharapova! :yeah:

Also, Capriati reached the SF of Roland Garros, QF of Wimbledon, but lost in the 1st round of the U.S. Open in all of 2006. She played her 1st slam in 87 reaching the SFs @ Wimbledon.....she is a 6 time grand slam champion.........with 4 Aus and 2 Wimbledon :)

there seems to be this patterns. it seems like that these results "could" have happened, as in, there isn't more than one person winning a tourney, and there aren't more than 4 or less than 4 who make it to semifinals, etc. -- maybe im wrong though
