Drake1980 Mar 20th, 2007, 08:04 PM  Meilen rocks. No need for harsh words. Highlandman Mar 20th, 2007, 08:05 PM  This is quite tragic news... id fancy Belgian number 4 to beat her! Why are this tragic news??? Belgian #4 would beat her??? I don't think that she would lose to Caroline Maes....Meilen played a great event in Memphis with year and had a hard fight in SF with Shahar Peer.... MrSerenaWilliams Mar 20th, 2007, 08:09 PM would the Irish #4 beat her? Would the Israeli #4 beat her, would the Canadian #4 beat her? The only nations that would have #4 players better than ours would probably be Russia (they have like 35 in the top 50), that's it. And our #1 and 2 (if it's Venus  ) are good enough to take on ANY ONE! Highlandman Mar 20th, 2007, 08:10 PM  Meilen rocks. No need for harsh words. Meilen Tu is like Martina Muller for many people :o  What they all thought during their match in IW??  :o Conor Mar 20th, 2007, 08:12 PM would the Irish #4 beat her? Mar 20th, 2007, 09:14 PM Meilen Tu deserves the spot. She has had a nice year so far. Made the SF of Memphis beating defending champ Arviddson on the way and played well enough against Shahar Peer. Meilen :rocker: Rtael Mar 20th, 2007, 09:38 PM would the Irish #4 beat her? Would the Israeli #4 beat her, would the Canadian #4 beat her? The only nations that would have #4 players better than ours would probably be Russia (they have like 35 in the top 50), that's it. And our #1 and 2 (if it's Venus  ) are good enough to take on ANY ONE! And China. Maybe france. Seyz Mar 20th, 2007, 09:38 PM Besides Meilen has been in the TOP 50 before. It's not like this is new to her either. Poova Mar 20th, 2007, 09:44 PM And China. Maybe france. And Italy. :wavey: Tenis Srbija Mar 20th, 2007, 09:49 PM :rolls: Randy H Mar 20th, 2007, 09:56 PM Meilen's a solid player, no need to insult her :) She's worked her way back up the rankings through good play at WTA events, qualifying, and winning main draw matches. It's not like she's won half a dozen 25k challengers, she'd done it the hard way and deserves respect for that. She's not new to the top 50, she's been there before, and fans like myself are pleased to see her form back to what she is capable of producing :) Maybe if the other Americans worked as hard as Meilen, they'd move up too. She's fit, fast, improved on her abilities at the net, and she deserves every bit of success. A lot of players would love to have some of Meilen's achievements :D Talula Mar 20th, 2007, 10:04 PM I don't even know who the British no 4 is! At least I've heard of Tu! ~Eclipsed~ Mar 20th, 2007, 10:07 PM I think it's scarier that Shaughnessy is America's #3 player. She's been in a slump lately. NyCPsU Mar 20th, 2007, 10:55 PM meilen :hearts: keep moving on up :hearts: nothing major to defend until semifinal at birmingham  Rocketta Mar 20th, 2007, 11:31 PM I'm more upset with the fact that MJ or Pam or someone said Meilin was engaged to Zvonareva's coach. That's just wrong. :tape: jamatthews Mar 20th, 2007, 11:36 PM I don't even know who the British no 4 is! At least I've heard of Tu! That's not important anyway, it's when you pit the #17s against each other that you get true depth! tennnisfannn Mar 21st, 2007, 02:57 AM The big news at the AO was there was no seeded american since forever, we saw how one american turned that statement on it's head. Orion Mar 21st, 2007, 03:44 AM It's definitely better than when Shaughnessy was the American #1. John. Mar 21st, 2007, 03:48 AM British number 4 is ......... RJWCapriati Mar 21st, 2007, 03:49 AM Not good.....but the Williams Sisters are back.......so its ok. Lindsay is pregnant and the Williams sisters have had their share of injuries and are obviously on their way back. The Williams sisters should be back in the top ten this year. They will at least win more slams. The first slam of the year belongs to an American obviously. Harju. I don't know why. It gives me the sensation that I know Meilen since 1995. So I always think that Meilen has to have at least 35 years. :tape: MisterMan Mar 21st, 2007, 03:44 PM Spanish number 4 wont beat Tu :help:  Please.
