Just got the news from Kveta.de
"Kveta ist gut in Miami angekommen und wird voraussichtlich im Doppel
mit Partnerin RENNAE STUBBS (AUS) antreten."

translated:

"Kveta arrived well in Miami and will be expected to team up in doubles with Rennae Stubbs from Australia"

I think they are a great team. Both played the YEC last year. Kveta with Francesca and Rennae with Cara.

Let's go girls:bounce:

I just saw photos from dubai, where Kveta is wearing her old fila-stuff instead of Lotto like last year. I think they dropped her despiter her great succes in doubles last year:(

Well, I believe they do! Can't wait to see them meet at last good teams, such as RaySur, Chan/Chuang or Kveta/Stubbs!

By the way, lots of courage Kveta! :tape:

she tried to get into miami qualifying. when the draw was made she was on no.2 on the next-in-qualies-list:sad: soo close. she is on the next-in-qualies-list in amelia island too but her ranking is too poor to get in:( hopefully she'll try some grand slam qualifying.

Because it seems Rennae has a lot of trouble to keep a partner! ;)

But Kveta played also singles last year, so she teamed up either with Loit, Schiavo... that was not her priority.
Stubbs is a pro doubles player, who right now knows problem to find a partner. She left two very good partners quite violently, and can't seem to find a regular partner this year (she's tried King and Morariu if I recall well).

I really thought Kveta would stabilized with Husarova though, seemed to get along well!

Kveta and Husarova had some good wins(defeating Black/Stubbs 64 60 in last year's summer) plus, they are the only pair who beat Hingis/Kirilenko in 2007 and that with a surprising scoreline 62 64 (leading 62 51). But I think that Kveta needs someone on her side who has a strong serve because Kveta's serve is not the best. And Stubbs is tall and has a strong serve and knows how to play doubles and Kveta has the touch combined with power and the reactions at the net so they should be a big contender for the title this year. I hope we can see doubles somewhere with a stream or so...

Well, we'll see! I like Kveta, she's a nice girl, so I wish her the best!;)
But my favs are Cara and Liezel! I think they'll win the four slams this year! :worship:

they'll face DUSHEVINA, Vera (RUS)/EHRITT-VANC, Andreea (ROU).

I know that dushevina and also vanc are great doubles players. definitely not an easy first round.

Kveta has a nice game. But having seen her live, she has the worst temper except for Strycova. She needs someone to calm her down because she does have the skills and is an extremely hard hitter.

Kveta better play singles on the grass - she is so good on that surface!

yes she definitely is emotional on court. but not in an unfair way or so... just stupid to herself because if she was mentally stronger then she should be a lot better.

Violently - ???????? Lisa and Rennae are still good friends. Rennae found a new love interest off court and moved on.

After getting back from Japan Rennae had a meniscus tear as well as some cartilage floating around in there, so had to have it taken care of. She was hoping to play Miami, but wasn't sure, it depended on her rehab. Anyway, she decided to give it a go

You're so right! In Paris GDF this year, her team with Janette was leading against Daniilidou/Woehr, when she hit in a ball that touched Woehr in the chest. They had to stop a few minutes for Woehr to get better, and after the break, Kveta was no longer the same, she could no longer hit at the ball, she got scared she might touch an opponent again! I've been very disappointed about that!

Well, in Madrid, they did not seem very friendly to each other... ;)

Peschke gonna play doubles with Rennae Stubbs. In the first round they're meeting Vera Dushevina and Andreea Ehritt-Vanc. In the second round, probably with Camerin/Dulko.

Potentially a pretty solid partnership, though Rennae will find it a bit odd to play with someone who stays back so much. I thought we might see Rennae team up with Vania King again after they did so well in Tokyo.

actually kveta doesn't stay at the back very much. I saw her playing serve and volley in Wimbledon.
