Congratulations Katya! She saved 2 consecutive MP in the tiebreak and then stumbled on a couple of her own before finally closing it out 10 points to 8. The match lasted 2 hours and 3 minutes and stats on serve were not particularly impressive for either player :help:. There were 14 breaks overall :eek:

Good luck in the next round Katya! Who will she be playing?

Vika!! :sad: She was so close and I really thought she had it in the tiebreak, even though she had won fewer points. I really like both players but I think I was slightly favouring Kutuzova :sad:. Oh well, I guess it's just a lesson learnt! :hug:

And sorry lenavee :hug::sad:

Total crap from Vika..She shouldn't be losing like this all the time. Her game is too good for her ranking.

:bigcry: i watched from the start on the scoreboard up till Bondarenko's 2nd MP :sad: I really thought Vika was going to win after saving MP at 6-5 in the set and then having 6-4 in the breaker but :o. Goodbye at any chance of getting direct entry into RG and Wimbledon :( this was a must win match and she usually owns Bondarenko, so like half of my faves she's in trouble :shrug:

I guess its better than getting embarrassed by Chin Wei Chan 6-1 6-1 but its still a major dissapointment :o also Vika faught from 1-6 1-2 down and a break and served for it at 5-3 in the 3rd which is a further kick in the teeth

I didn't realise that she served for the match at 5-3 or that she saved a MP at 5-6 :sad:! She must feel really bad right now, I just hope she picks herself up :hug:
