This week, her points should be defended well by her, facing Jidkova or Martic in 2nd round. She shouldn't have problems with neither. But then there's Na Li in 3rd (probably, faces Molik in 2R though probably) round :scared: But I think she can still manage to win though, she plays very good when she's not tired I think. She could play against Clijsters in the 4th round...Quite a tough draw, but good enough to defend her points atleast...

Double faults 2 4

Bad first set from Srebotnik, the 4 DF's came in her first 2 service games, hasn't done a DF since then.

Next is Na Li

well

Kata IS in a slump

After Doha and Dubai , I expected her to do better - but beating Jidkova playing apparently a poor 1st set and now thsi against Li , well ...

:help:

I'm sure better times will come though - hopefully the sooner possible ... :)

Li d Srebotnik 60 61

Poor result, obviously. Disappointed that this tournament is already over for Kata. But apart from the score line, she fell to a higher ranked player and did well to gain a few points. (Besides, Na Li seems to be on fire: she was equally unkind to Paszek.)

Keep on trying. Top 20 is still well within reach.

I was at the match against Li. Kata made few errors - but Li was on fire. She was smacking winners all over the place, she hardly missed a ball.
