yeah...that's why I really want her to play Peer, just to see where she is in her game. But she's been out for so long. I don't know if she's ever been out this long. I think maybe in 2000. So she's bound to be making more errors than usual. And considering how many she was making last year that could be a lot. All I hope is to see her return to her true championship form.

Remember, play during practice and actual real match play are completely different, Venus said it herself.
Plus, don't you recall Serena's less than stellar play right before the Aus at the Tier III Gold Coast tournament?

Venus had surgery on her wrist. She has kinks in her game. This is her first tournament since that. Clearly she has to work the kinks out of her game. I'll be worried if she's at this same juncture three months from now. I'm just fucking excited to have her back :bounce:. Love ya Vee :hearts:
