Idea for tournament threads

I suggested this already in the Nicole forum and I think it could/should be done here as well:

Guys, I have a suggestion.

You know how there's a thread for every tournament Lucie plays, which basically means that we'll soon have tons of dead threads.
I was thinking we'd start one thread and that would serve for all tournaments, we could edit the title every time Lucie plays a new tournament and have like all info in the first post including links to where the new tourney talk starts.
Maybe we could also have a seperate thread for slams only.

What do you think?
I'm willing to start such a thread and update the first post and stuff if needed.

Absolutely not; the whole point of Lucie having her own forum is that we can have a thread for each significant topic, and quickly find what we're looking for, rather than having to plough through one monolithic thread.

Especially for someone like me, whose visits to this forum are often months apart. :o

It would be against WTAworld policy to impose one thread for all tournaments. That would be a matter for the administrators to decide - not the moderators.

No need for the aggressive tone of your post, as you can see by the thread title it's an idea, I added a poll so posters would decide.
It was merely a suggestion and seeing how the majority doesn't agree it won't be implemented.
