I'm a bit bored with all the reports of this player CHOKING and that player CHOKING... In every match there seams to be some player doing it! According to most people on here...

But the true is just because a player was leading in a match at some point and ends up losing DOES NOT mean they choked!

Yeah sometimes i'm sure they do but NOT all the time IN EVERY MATCH!

Rant over, Lol

I have to agree, its always the same. Chocking crazy on these boards!

Way i see it a lot of times when a player is down they have nothing to lose so go for it more.. in tennis a lead is never that big really!

I think if people see that someone won the 1st set, lost the 2nd closely, and then the 3rd by whatever score, they just automatically decide they must have choked. :o

choking may only be on a small scale such as a miss on one crucial point, or it may be losing a big lead, but it happens in almost every match. people have taken it too far, and it really isnt worth mentioning half the time, but it gives people a reason why their favorite player lost and sounds better than 'the other player was better'

I agree! Glad you started this thread.

Not at all did Jancovic choke today. If anything other than sheer tennis kept her away from the title today, it was her own personality.
