Just wondering who you other JUJU fans are supporting in JUJU's absence.

I really want to see either KIM or MARTINA win. They have been the first ones to reach out to Justine and offer their classy support. Not to mention that I love Hingis and that Kim is just a sweetie. Seeing Martina get another AO in her comeback or Kim win a slam in her last year would both be great.

Kim or Jelena would be my choices. I do think Kim has a very good chance to win the AO this year, which I think, would be very special for her. She deserves another Slam before she retires.

I don't really have a second favourite as such. I'd like a young player to break through - Jankovic or Vaidisova - to make the tour more interesting. Alternatively one of the players who works hard and is motivated - Sharapova, Kuznetsova, Petrova are all fine with me.

I don't want any of the players who haven't bothered to work on their games to win it.

Well, my next faves on the list are Nadia and Dinara. But though Nadia is always a threat a Dinara had a great start of the year, I don't think either of them will win it.

So I hope it's going to be between Janko, Kim and Martina

first I'd like a title defence for MoMo

then I 'd like a miracle for Serena.

then I'd like Martina to return to former glory.

then Kim, because she's nice to Ju ;)

then I'd like a first slam for Lena D or Patty or a miracle second slam for Anastasia.

and I'd like a nice dark horse showing from Bovina.

much to look out for, but it'd be so much better with Ju and Venus

I hope you are truly kidding. Kim is a great asset to the game. She and Juju had their rivalry and differences but I think they have moved beyond that. :)

Kim off course. She's won 33 WTA titles so basically the majority of the years tournaments. She has only won 1/4 Grand Slams so for her to end her career with an AO and UO Trophy and perhaps even more that would be the cherry on the cake. So Kim Kim Kim Kim

Kim or Jankovic.

It's obvious why I would want Kim there, wouldn't want her to be the infamous one-slam wonder, because we all know she can do way better than 1.

Jankovic, because if she does win, I really think she deserves it.

Juju..... :(

Like Saki, I don't really support anyone as much as I support Justine, but as she's not playing  then this is the order of my support for other players:

1. Kim (she certainly doesn't deserve to be a 1-slam wonder)
2. Jelena Jankovic (she's been playing SO well and I'd like to see her get one and I think this is the best time for her)
3. Martina (she likes JuJu and had nice words :hearts: for her and was supportive)
4. Vaidisova (I like her and she has so much potential)
5. Ivanovic  (I know ... there's no chance just yet)

i dont support anyone except Justine. My preferences;

1. Vaidisova (i ilke her)
2. Jankovic (hardworking girl)

if not, then comes;
3. Kim (her tennis deserves more than one GS)
4. Sharapova (except her fake screams, i like her desire to improve)

However, if Kim wins it, I'll be happy too :)

Jelena winning it would be the shock of the year... but she can do it

definately kim its her last season and she is such a great player
also i have been very impressed recently by jankovic, so i hope she does really well.

I'll also be supporting ivanovic and molik, although I don't think they are contenders for the title

I hope that Martina or Kim can claim this for martina it would be the perfect way to finish her astonishing 12months and for clijsters its the perfect way to start what will be her final 12months on the tour... and for the others like elena , jelena, maria, nicole, ana, dinara, nadia, i think these are the ladies who will be winning in a few years...

I dont think Martina will win a grand slam with her current game, she is still vulnerable to any power players in top 20. And it will be more difficult for her to win anything if all the power players are in a good shape.

Hingis really need to step it up, not just technically but also mentally. The second part is the most important. I believe she can hit those amazing shots with her being confident.

Technically, she need to improve (Again and again) her serve and her forehand. She need to take more risk to hit her shots closer to the lines and not hitting those shitty in the middle shots again.

Honestly, she cant win grand slam with her present performance.

Of the contenders:
1) Petrova (stop laughing)
2) Kuznetsova
3) Clijsters
4) Jankovic

Others:
1) Chakvetadze
2) Vaidisova
3) Demented
4) any chinese will do

A Maria, Mauresmo, Serena, Hingis win will make me very unhappy.

I really, really hope Kim wins this. My wish for her is that she tears through this season, being her last, and win at least 2 more slams her year of retirement. That would be sweet.

I support Kim and Kirsten and the Belgian men. After them, my signature players.

I'm mainly pulling for Svetlana now, but am happy with Big Masha or even Amelie win. Big Masha win--what can I say, crappy haters even more bitter and angry than ever, board goes crazy with taunting, "told you sos" and all, not anything as good as a Venus win, but the best we get with today's players. For whatever reason, Amelie is still taking loads of crap on this board, so a watered-down version of above.
