First WTA final for Bardina!

Vasilisa Bardina just reached her first WTA final by beating Sybille Bammer 6-3, 6-1 in Hobart.
She plays Chakvetadze or Mirza in the final.

Bardina plays Chakvetadze in an all Russian final.

"It's been a long week and all matches have been difficult for me," said Bardina, who posted her seventh straight win at the Domain Tennis Center Thursday. She has won three matches in qualifying and four in the tournament's main draw.
"I don't know how I've got through all these matches," she said..
"I'll have more confidence (for the Australian Open), but I'm also just a little bit tired. Too many matches."
Bardina took one hour, 21 minutes to overcome the unseeded Bammer, who ousted former World No. 1 Serena Williams in Wednesday's quarterfinals.
"It's my first big, big win," said Bardina, adding that winning the title "would be a great thing for me."
"Maybe, the first dream is to win a small tournament, and then the second is to win a big one. Now I'm in the final , maybe I can get my first dream."

Yeah, I'm not saying she could never win it. She could beat Anna 6-0 6-0 but I think Anna has got a much better chance.

Plus, winning the match agaisnt Sania as comfortably as she did, to me looks like they weren't that serious.

This girl seems very promising, havent seen her play, but i know she gave Sharapova a great fight in San Diego, and just looks like another superb young Russian talent:)

She was attended to at 64, 50, and said that if the score were any different she would've retired.

Plus there might be rain. So it could be a wild final.
