Raymond didn't show up for her qualifying match in Melbourne this morning, i guess because she is still playing doubles in Sydney. So her streak of playing in 46 Grand Slam (singles) maindraws in a row is officially over.
longest remaining GS streaks, assuming the players play next week as expected:
I didnt realise how long Dechy has been playing on the tour

That's really weird because she's not still playing in Sydney. Team Raysur lost in the first round to Pratt and Loit.

Didn't Amanda Coetzer have a longer streak then Patty Schnyder? :wavey:

This is weird. I think Raysur is having a serious falling out.
They have different goals right now.
I think this could be their last slam together.
Time for Lisa to go to an Aussie who is in the same boat as she is, Alicia Molik.
I think it's a better fit if she's looking to work on her singles play without damaging her doubles ranking.

That still doesn't explain why she's not playing her qualifying match right now...

She got dumped by her Sapphic sister both on the court and in the bedroom. She's crying her eyes out in a Sydney hotel room, and enjoying the company of the only two non-dyke friends she's got: Ben & Jerry.

slightly offtopic, but even against alternate Raquel Kopp-Jones, Arantxa Parra-Santonja STILL can't win a set (57 46 ) :help: :help: :help:
