that you were one of those people who said that S.Williams will win Hobart easily (just like any other Tier IV tournament she enters).

The rest of us need a good and looooooooooooong laugh :haha:  :worship:

Have b*lls dear whereever you are :p

I never said such a thing. Serena may have a large arse to cart around these days, however I did consider her to win in Hobart, only because she has this ability to surprise, of which annoys me but makes womens tennis a lil more interesting.

I hate the fact that this thread is a "I told you so, I told you so" thing.

I never made such a prediction but at the same time I won't "laugh" either. I'm sure Serena will get back to her top form eventually but we won't so it for quite some time yet.

I never said she wouldn't, so this thread is not about I told you so. I didn't have to. The whole idea of it was so delusional.

Let's laugh together. Not at her. At some posters here. :bounce:

How sweet.

perso, i didn't predict anything but to be honest i never thought that the one defeating her would be Sybille Bammer.

No she wouldn't. She doesn't have to anymore. She's now famous and she makes more and MUCH easier money by doing other things. It's the same as with Anna. They both lost motivation to work hard because pay offs are much better when they do other things. Anna's fans accepted it, Serena's should do as well.

I thought Anna C would win it. She's won 13 of 14 matches now.
She's a new star, on the rise.

She hasn't lost it yet. Im guessing you're implying that she's basically a good chance to just win the whole thing.

I didn't even know the name of the tournament.

I DO KNOW, THOUGH, THAT IT'S A SHAME FOR A THREADSTARTER(WHO IS IN HIS 50s) to be obsessing over a 24 year old woman.

There's almost humour in that. . . .almost.

Thank you, darling. I'm actually 65

PS. Just to make sure you catch it, as I said in my post above, it's about the deluded posters here not Serena. :wavey:

Are YOU one of them?

I had Serena in the finals after beating Lucie.
I was really worried about her getting pass Lucie though.
I didn't think Bam Bam had the game to beat her but I find it interesting how things happen on tour.

Venus plays two lefties in a row at the French Open in Emma Laine and Bammer and she wins.
Serena plays two lefties in a row in Lucie Safarova and Sybille Bammer and she struggles and loses to Bammer.

Lindsay plays Peng and Razzano back to back at the French Open, she struggles but wins.
Hingis plays Peng and Razzano back to back at the US Open, she struggles and loses to Razzano.

As much as people complain about how many upsets happen on clay compared to other surfaces, it looks like the surface negates upsets more than anything.

I have to admit I thought she would lose to Anna C in the final!

losing to bammer is kind of embarrassing

why must everyone be so fast to predict players like Hingis, Serena, Venus, etc..

these players have proven again and again many times.
just give them a break please....
