Kim was just absolutely on top of her game t'day & she was as solid as a rock :yeah: She is definitely a contender going into the AO you would have to think :D now she's into the semis :yippee:

bad luck shahar  not a good day for her but great effort for reaching the quarters.

Just a bad match-up for Peer. She's better off grinding it out against the less mobile powerhitters. Leave it to Clijsters to kill the hype for any youngster. The only young player that can beat a good playing Kim is Sharapova.

Shahar :( I didn't expect her to win, but at least to put up a better fight :(

I love how Kim at the top of her game can just effortlessly make some lower ranked players look like amateurs. And Peer was a pretty in-form player too. She truly is too talented to retire with only one slam.

Peer seems able to compete with the 6-10 part of the top 10, but not the top 5 type players. she got waxed by JHH and Kim in both of her matches with them. Good luck at the AO, Shahar!!!

Win the title, Kim!

I thought Peer was going to get wiped off the coiurt, and she was. When Kim is on, she just runs over these talented young players, doesn't she? What an athlete.

It looks very well this tourney for Kim .

I think she will win

Ben.
Jan 10th, 2007, 07:11 AM
well with amelie now gone you would have to think that kim is the clear favourite for this title :) but however with jelena, na & ana or nicole still alive in the event you can't underestimate them & they won't make it easy for kim.

but i'm still positive that kim will win this title :yeah:

:woohoo: good to see Kim back in killing form ;)
out of the 3 other girls left, JJ will probably form the biggest threat.
She pushed Kim to 3 sets last year during US summer season, and she seems even better now (but I also think Kim is a bit better now)

Well, at least Peer will be a top 16 seed at the AO (with JHH and myskina withdrawing), will avoid the top players early
