Most probably Jelena.

well it all depends on the draw but

Jankovic, Ivanonic, Safina, Peer, Vaidisova and Chakvetadze could all be potential QFinalists (with Jelena even a SFinalist)

Golovin could be a potential 4Rounder

i don't think Kirilenko and Bartoli will do well

Muller

I have the (strange) feeling she'll be finalist , so I'd obviously say Jelena Jankovic.

Martina Muller of course :)

In seriousness, probably Jankovic.

I don't think Chakvetadze will go far. I haven't found her very convincing.
It will probably be Jelena Jankovic, she is confident, ready and motivated.

But as I am optimistic, I chose Tati ! :)

Martina of course. :worship:

Peer, she showing great form, and if not for that choke against Safina, she'd be in the same boat as Janko

Muller will be a seed if someone else in the top32 withdraws  :o

I'll go with Jankovic. I can also see Vaidisova going as far as the semis. I think one of them will make the semis but no father.

In this order:

1. Jankovic
Vaidisova

2. Ivanovic
Peer
Safina
Golovin

3. Chakvetadze
Bartoli

4. Kirilenko

5. Muller

I have to go with my gurl, Little Masha! Please, hon, at least make the third round so you don't go into a ranking nosedive. I hope she or Vesnina make the semifinals.

Out of that lot Zvonareva(could be wishful thinking)

Hon, she's not even on the list! Throw some of that CryBaby Love to Little Masha, she's already in a shame spiral and it's only the second week of January.

Safina and Vaidisova are streakiest players here along Jankovic. one of the three will be this events suprise of the tourny, even if it's only QF, but upsetting a big favorite along the way (sharapova, clijsters, hingis and momo).
no way do i see peer, golovin doing as much here as they can elsewhere at the other 3 slams (each of course with her priorities).
chakvetadze's semifinal or other big run will wait for wimbeldon.

Chakvetadze

apart from bartoli and muller they all have the potential to reach the quarters, but jankovic will go farthest

At least they put Masha the smaller on the list,Crybaby was within an inch of making Jankovic get the kleenex out the other day, and has a winning record over several on the list, and no CB,:bigcry: waah! Masha little will be alright as soon as she dumps any connection with the McCartney mob.

Jankovic IMO

then Ivanovic or Chakvetadze who are very talented as well
maybe Peer could surprise us too!

I wish for JJ to win a title... But I'm sure that she will go far. More than others.

I like this "Martina Muller (lol)"

I'd love to say Jankovic but I fear that if she keeps winning in Sydney she might be too exhausted to go the distance at the AO. Hope not though.

CryBaby is way better than like at least half the broads on that list, she belongs on it!

Nicole Vaidisova :) but then Jankovic, she is extremely good player, I hope that Nicole will win over Jelena - it will be great match :)

Slampova
Jan 10th, 2007, 04:38 PM
Either Nicky or Tati... But with a convincing draw Kirilenko could start to find her form and do some damage.

Judging by current form - Jankovic (possible winner), then Vaidisova, then, far, far behind - all the rest... It would take some major form-recovering for Ivanovic or Kirilenko to make a splash at the AO.

Vaidisova 12
