Marina Erakovic Cheering Thread - Withdrawn, but lets cheer for her anyway

For winning the 50k Beijing title in 2006 (the biggest title by a New Zealander for some 17 years), Marina Erakovic was granted a feed up into this tournament. Marina Erakovic has beaten a number of players who are current top 100 and given the right draw could be a real contender for this title. Shes a former top 5 junior who won a couple of Grand Slams.

COME ON MARINA!!!!!!

Marina and Vika (Azarenka) are actually very good friends, they played quite a bit in junior doubles together and Marina managed to get her a wildcard into maindraw of ASB Classic 2006 after Marina had to withdraw.

Marina is very well respected in Asia (Kiwis always seem to do well here, Sacha won a few titles here last year and Katherine enjoyed coming here on her last visit).

I hope Marinas not injured, it would be devastating as shes defending points in February-March and could see her rank fall outside the top 200 if she doesnt watch out. Shes still down for some other tournaments so we'll just have to wait and see.
