For Mel B, a case of Murphy's Law

Happily never after Mel B (above) had the rug pulled out from under her when Eddie Murphy (below) announced they've split and he wants a paternity test.
Eddie Murphy wants his freshly dumped Spice Girl-friend, Mel B, to prove he's the father of her baby.
Murphy was flashing his gap-toothed grin at last night's New York premiere of "Dreamgirls," but the comic is dead serious about the paternity issue.

Appearing on a Dutch chat show this week, Murphy was asked if he was happy with Mel "since she's pregnant with your child."
"You're being presumptuous," Murphy shot back, "because we're not together anymore. And I don't know whose child that is, until it comes out and has a blood test. You shouldn't jump to conclusions, sir."

Mel's rep didn't return our E-mailed request for a response, but chances are she's reeling. Two days ago, she was quoted as saying, "We're in love. All [our] children have met and get on, too. I can't wait to spend Christmas with him, and I can't wait to have this baby."

Eddie may have already moved on. He showed up at the "Dreamgirls" premiere on the arm of film producer Tracey Edmonds, estranged wife of singer "Babyface" Edmonds. Many people did double takes when the box-office champ started dating the stale pop tart in June, two months after Murphy divorced Nicole Mitchell Murphy. But by September, he confirmed, "I am madly in love with Mel."

Meanwhile, Oprah Winfrey may be just plain mad at Murphy's "Dreamgirls" co-star Jamie Foxx after the way he made the talk queen and her gal pal Gayle King the punch line of a joke at Sunday's American Museum of the Moving Image tribute to Will Smith.

"I was talking about you the other day," Foxx told Smith. "I was laying in bed with Oprah, and I turn over to Gayle and I say, 'You know what?'" Howls of laughter muffled Foxx's last line, but the Oscar winner went on to say he hoped Bravo cuts the gag from its broadcast of the gala. (As you know, Oprah and Gayle have scoffed at talk that they're lovers.)

Also at the Moving Image fete were Queen Latifah, Eva Mendes, Thandie Newton, Bill Pullman, Terrence Howard, Cedric the Entertainer, Chevy Chase, Stockard Channing and Will's son Jaden, who co-stars with him in "The Pursuit of Happyness." "Daddy," said Jaden, 8, "you were a real good actor, but I taught you everything." Jaden's mom, Jada Pinkett Smith, chimed in: "You know where he gets that from."

We all know if Mel B was getting some on the side, the chances of it being with another women is high.
Now I don't know much about sex but I'm about 99.9% sure that two women cannot have babies through a sexual encounter without sperm.

Now if it was a laboratory, everything is fair game.
