Chicago is awesome, once you've survived a couple of winters. Even The New Yorker concedes its the most architecturally splendid city in the U.S. Wrigley Field is heaven on earth. Great for all kinds of music, and second only to NYC for museums and theater. It's only fault is that the Chicago Fire are truly the lowest, vilest, filthiest, degenerate gang of reprobates in the history of sport who's chances of clasping the Brimstone Cup to their malodorous breasts are about as likely as mine are of shagging Uma Thurman.

I'm sorry, I seem to have digressed. Because, aside from their soccer team which actually plays in the suburbs, it's really cool.

TOULOUSE

Aujourd'hui, tes buildings grimpent haut
A Blagnac, tes avions ronflent gros
Si l'un me ramène sur cette ville
Pourrai-je encore y revoir ma pincée de tuiles

Ô mon pays, ô Toulouse, ô Toulouse

If it comes to the really big cities, I choose Rome, without a doubt :) The mixture of Roman Empire and more recent ages is unique :worship: And it's in Italy of course, my favourite country ;)

If smaller ones count I'd say Siena, cause it's so cosy and interesting :hearts:

Rome, Italy  :inlove: :hearts:

It's firstly in an amazing country full of wonderful people, stunning food/drink, amazing history and culture  It's not a massive city but it's large enough to have lots to do and see so you never get bored, it's beautiful with lots of stunning architectural and historical sites, the shops are amazing, the food is (I think ;) ) the best in the world...ah I love this city sooooo much :inlove:

Of course it is the only city in Italy that I've been to so far (although I have been quite a few times to Rome already) so I've got a lot more to visit in the country but so far Rome is by far my favourite city in the world

I have a bunch!!!!!!!!!!
Toronto just for being so diverse
Budapest was amazing . Loved the Chain Bridge and just the feel of the place(and so cheap!!)
Stockholm ... wow just so amazing
Oslo ... so expensive but just so laid back and love how it is located in a fjord.
=Loved going to the top of Holmenkollen b/c the view was amazing!
London ... was surreal b/c I have seen it so many times in movies
Edinburgh... wow royal mile and the Castle.. so majestic and towers over the city
Paris... cool cool city!! Really enjoyed the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs
Copenhagen... decidedly different atmosphere from the other Scandinavian capitals but still liked it.
Amsterdam.. am partial b/c I am half Dutch.. have visited alot of cities in the Eastern part of the Netherlands as well
Alghero, Sardinia, Italy ... found a cheap ryanair flight here and it was so cool... so chill and relaxed
Vancouver/WHistler ... wow the views, the atmosphere wowowowowwow!!
Sydney Oz .. nice city really enjoyed!
Shanghai, China.. spent 4 months here was cool to experience the whole building atmosphere!
Cape Town.. definately a favourite... loved table mountain.. visited some vinyards, soaked up the culture.. also visited an aids hospital which was a very sobering experience indeed.

I've only started travelling fairly recently, but so far my favorite city is Vancouver without question. Unbelievably beautiful, friendly people, young and hip...you can't ask for much more.

Boston's my favorite city in the states. I have a love/hate relationship with NYC (which I live thirty minutes outside of), but in the times when I find it charming I find myself falling in love with the place all over again.

Gonna be in Europe for the first time this Xmas break as well! Been saving up for it all semester :) (three week trip to Dublin, Belfast, Edinburgh, Manchester, and London)

It's a toss up for me between London and Singapore. Melbourne, Istanbul and Paris are amazing too.

I don't often get to stay in the big cities when I travel, we usually end up staying somewhere in the rural countryside or more obscure parts of the country (ie. Arboras in France, Kilkee in Ireland, Assos in Turkey and the Greek Islands).

Rome is without a doubt the most amazing city in the world. As a rule I don't like the phrase 'je ne sais quoi' but Rome does have it, the atmosphere, vibe or ambiance is just amazing and evocative and could charm any visitor.

Madrid, Berlin, Vienna and Venice are also stunningly fantastic and Paris, London and Brussels always deserve a mention.

Of smaller cities, I like Brugge, Siena and Segovia.

However there's no place quite like home!
