Forgive me for my ignorance but I have a question about open-stance. For my forehand, I have my torso turned and I have all the weight on the back foot and my racquet down. This is where it gets alittle fuzzy for me. Are you supposed to then transfer you weight to the left or foward or what. And how do you do this?

Assuming you are right handed, you're then supposed to pop your right hip foreward and that momentum will help you to swing your racquet without much effort. Make sure you pop your hip foreward FIRST BEFORE you swing your racquet. This is how the pros get so much power without losing their arms. It's all lower body and hip usage. If you transfer your weight onto your left leg, you will lose all that power and end up using your upper body to hit the ball.
