What have been the biggest coincindences of 2006? For example, the same players drawing each other week after week etc.

In my opinion, the strangest were:
-Patty Schnyder drawing Antonella Serra Zanetti in Wimbledon first round, again!
-Dokic and Stevenson meeting in first round of Wimbledon qualifying:eek: , a rematch of 1999 quarter finals.

what are your thoughts?

i thought of that one. its so strange that out of all the opponents possible to draw, they played each other 3 times in a row.

 That was the first "unknown" Bulgarian. Sesil was pretty damn well known when Venus lost to her!

I wouldnt go as far as to say that. Completely unknown? No. For the most part unknown... yes.

And definitely the Chanda Rubin vs. Patty Schnyder drawing eachother like 344653169 weeks in a row was the first thing that came to mind.

Yeah Mirza losing too many 3 setters  Almost every match she lost was a close one( not all of em of course!! )
Justine lost all Big ones in which she played a tournie right before (with a title that too) While the slams she went fresh in (RG and the pseudo slam "YEC" ) She won them!! She looked worn kinda worn out in both USO and Wimby finals!!I dont think its too good for her to play a tournie right before a slam...!!

Sesil was not unknown when she beat Venus - no way! People had heard of her at least coz of comments that she's made about handing Sharapova's ass to her in a previous match. ;)
