And btw, Dokic and Kournikova always showed more promise. Kournikova could have been a real challenger at one point, even for Grand Slams had she maintained her intensity and focus.

Stevenson definitely. Although all made Slam semi's, Dokic won two tier 1's and kournikova did feature in the Miami final in 98. Stevenson's only hurrah was the Wimby semi in 99.

Jelena won 5 titles 2 being Tier 1s and 4 doubles titles including the FO Final, was also ranked as highg as #4
Anna won mutliple GS doubles titles and many doubles titles, and was in the top 10 at some point

Compared to potential, I would say Kournikova. Overall though, Stevenson takes the cake.

Well Kournikova had (has, hopefully lol) the most potential out of all three and could've done soooo much better than she did. However, if we're talking strictly accomplishments, then Stevenson is clearly the least accomplished.

Obviously, Stevenson in terms of achievements. But I think Anna had the most unrealised potential of all three. Dokic almost overachieved during her period in the top 10 with two Tier I titles and Stevenson was a bit of a fluke and also very unlucky with injuries. Anna had everything going for her - even her serve wasn't bad when she first came on tour - but never achieved what she was capable of. Much of that was bad luck with injuries but, even before the major injuries, she wasn't doing as well as she could have done.

So who are the 3 Dokic haters and 11 Kournikova haters :mad:

If I based it on who wasted the most potential, definitely as some have mentioned, the answer would be Kournikova. 0 titles for a player as good as she was is absolutely ludicrous, a mistake in tennis history really.

But the thread question is simple. Who's career was the worst. And there's one answer, period. Anyone who voted for Dokic or Kournikova are either 1) severely retarded, 2) know absolutely nothing about tennis or 3) are blinded by their hate for Dokic and/or Kournikova or their love for Stevenson...or a combination of the 3.

Stevenson is pretty much on track with where she should be she overachieved for a period of time and now is back to her potential

Dokic had a good career for a few years and was going places she hasnt had a bad career by any stretch of the imagination

Kournikova career was decent she has won slams and has had success too but injuries and maybe lack of mental strength let her down on big occasions but she should be happy with how it went
