guys I thought it would be a good idea if we have a thread where we can discuss the results of other sports at the Asian Games besides tennis ...

I'll start: today in the table tennis opening team play, China beat Kuwait easily. In one match, Li Xiaoxia beat Aminah Al Zaidan 11–1, 11–0, 11–1. :help: :help: :help: :help: :help:

Badminton - men's team

Indonesia in the same group with strong China and India

Indonesia d India 3-0 but our players were not in form yet

Taufik Hidayat (world number 12), he won Asian Games 2002 gold medal and Olympic 2004 gold medal

Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan (ranked 5 in the world now) - they play fast pace game

Men-Indonesia had tough time to reach SF and meet China again!:devil:

Young INA Grandmaster, Susanto Megaranto def. former world champion:eek:

Weight-lifting:

Lisa Rumbewas (INA) finished 4th in 53 kg. Lisa won silver medals in Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004.

Cycling/road race: both INA's cyclists finished under 20s...:mad:
