while we're at the topic of new outfit collections, FILA has a dress named after kim :lol:

the black nike one looks best. the other outfits are horrible especially the green one. i like this years adidas collection (the black turquoise outfit worn by Petrova and Juju).

i like the three last tops from nike. they're better when they do simple things, not when they try to be orginal (i.e. sharapova's pyjamas). i hope nastya and dani will wear them!

both of them r nice but i like the nike ones much better, much better when they're simple rather than doing some crazy outfit like maria's maternity dress. can't wait 2 see what the players r wearing when i go 2 the aussie open in the next few months on RLA.

fila usually makes good stuff but we don't see them as kim and sveta don't change oufits a lot.but i don't like the first 2 dresses.
i expected more of the adidas competition, but i have to wait and see what it looks like on players. i remember i was not convinced by the black and blue stuff last season but actually it was really good on nadia, lena vesnina, dina etc...
the thing is that i don't like pink...

Interesting that link to prodirecttennis mentioned that Anna-Lena will be wearing YOC, she usually doesn't. I love the "model" shots of the girls wearing the adidas range as well, Ana and Anna-Lena look hot, and even Justine looks quite nice, she should wear that top when she plays, it suits her.

Adidas had some good outfits this year, like the ones Ivanovic and Hingis had over the summer, but mostly it's garbage :o

The Fila ones aren't going to look great on. Fila tends to sponsor the chunkier girls - like Sveta, Jen Cap, Kim - and usually their outfits are designed to flatter them. These ones look a bit too skimpy.

The black one would look great on someone like Mary Pierce, kind of reminds me of the RG 00 outfit she wore. Tatiana would look great in that too.

i don't like it. color+design. but maybe it will be good in reality. the thing i don't understand is that maria seems to like fashion (ie off court looks), so why her outfits are so boring (not to say ugly like last years AO pregnant dress:lol: ). she is tall, nike could make efforts to design clothes that suit her. is maria involved in the designs? look adidas, the stella mc cartney line really suits masha kirilenko perfectly. The YOC line is really adapted to their 'stars', and is completely different from anna k's era.

and the black dress is actually called the "FILA Women's Kim Clijsters Dress", but it was apparently for kim to wear during this year's USO.

We arent sure yet King said it in another post and he said that he had read it somewhere so its yet to be offically confirmed or denied but Im hoping its true I want to see her wearing something new for this first time in over a year and i think with a bit of Venus magic she couyld really funk up those outfits and be the Queen of oncourt fashion again.

Remember that these outfits aren't the new Polo range for next year, if Venus was to join with Polo then I'm sure she would have alot of imput into her designs. So I think we could expect something a bit more "Venussy" than these. :D

Sorry but hopefully Serena doesn't wear that. The design is fine, but I am really hoping none of the Nike girls wear anything that has that rank purple & orange combination. OH gawd, those Nike ones are HORRIBLE-ALL OF THEM.

The Fila ones are great though. They're definitly a HUGE step up from some of the stuff i've seen.

The Adidas ones, some of them, are really nice too. Hopefully we'll see Hingis and the other players in some of the better looking ones.

The Polo ones are nice too; except, i think that the dress is waaaay too plain. The Fila skirts and the Polo skirts are really really nice.
I hope that Venus DOES sign with Polo or wears something new.

i'm also excited to see Vaidisova's new Reebok Collection. She's one of my faves, so i hope that she wears something nice and not ugly like some of the other outfits i've seen that Reebok has.

I am very far from picky, in fact it takes alot for me to not like what the girls wear, but Nike should be able to dish out something better than this. Why can't Nike for once just make some clothes that have nice designs with basic colours? It is pretty though, and it shows that Nicole has taste as well.

I think it has less to do with Nicole. I mean I think Reebok still has some control in what she wears. They're not going to let her come completely out of the bag with something....they still want to sell dresses, and Venus' Reebok designs were some of the best.

It's a little different, but some the color scheme is the same as Venus' dress from last years' AO, but some of the actual design facets and dress features are a bit different, but I mean Reebok is Reebok, they're not in the business of DRASTIC changes year to year, so I mean for some people to say that Nicole's dress looks like Venus' IMO is more about Reebok than about Venus.
