Does anyone believe she can crack to ten or even to 15 next year, because for Hantuchova it's all about the consistencey, one week it may be there and she may make semi-finals of an event then the next event she crashes out in first or second round.I would love to see get on consistent basis cause she showed promise in Zurich this year[losing 6-3 in the 3rd set to Sharapova].I would like to see her move higher than her normal 22,21,20,19,18,17,16 ranking for the past 2 years, she has the talent no doubt its just a matter of putting together all of her tools.

I refuse to answer because with Daniela you never know what's going to happen

Daniela Has pretty much nothing to defend all year except for January and the Slams... After the AO.. She lost in the second round of every tournament.. and some first rounds... if she plays well, and doesnt get into her 2nd round losing streak like she is known for.. She will definitely move up

I think she already has. During Zurich and Stuttgard I noticed a well as the commentatoes noticed she's taking more little steps around the ball. Also I remember her playing good defence at times against Patty and Svetlana, so hopefully she will improve that even more. But yeah with Daniela you never know. Lets just hope she can come out well in 07(BTW I like her coach, I think he's influenced her in a positive way and will continue to, next year)

I can't see her getting into the top 10 again, but top 15 she should be able to do for intermittent periods.

She's was in the top five before. She has what it takes. She should really work hard if she wants reach her former level. Maybe some good wins to boost her confidence.

Its all in the mind, and sadly i dont beleive she is mentally tough enough. Plus she consistently fails to build on any success she may have. Its more like success is a burden causing more problems...

Daniela needs to imrpove her mental toughness. if she can do that, she can match Justine Henin-Hardenne in results, which is quite a compliment

I think she made some progress last year but not enough to make her top 10.
But in my mind she deserves top 15 if she can keep play like this.

well, i really dont know where you get that idea, apart from the slams she was quite poor last year

With Daniela you never know what will happen even the next day. But I believe she can crack the top15 and then somehow the top10 :p

Well first of all it's important for Hantuchova and also any other player that she is healthy! Don't forget that! Second of all, isn't she training now at the Sanchez Cassall Academy, sorry don't know the spelling. But it is the place were Svetlana Kuznetsova also trains. And I've seen some improvements in Hantuchova's game. I think the most important thing right now is her confidence. I think she needs to win a second WTA Tour title!
