It would be funny if Ai found our forum one day and read what we were saying :tape: Like, she must use google? *scratches head*

Does anyone think "Ai's Army" is agressive? it's got a nice ring to it though...

-sugi-
Nov 17th, 2006, 03:17 PM
That would be funny

I kind of like the name Ai's Army, I feel it resembles Ai's never say die attitude :D

Hello :wavey:

I like the name of her thread "Ai Army" coz she is a fighter..

AJZ.
Nov 17th, 2006, 06:32 PM
that's true!
never say die
I've started to use that in my life, too... inspiring, you know? never say die..

Has a little ring to it too

Maybe we can have army positions assigned xD "Corporal of Ai's Army" XD lmao

I'm losing my mind, off-season is long (It's only been a week, that's what is )

-sugi-
Nov 17th, 2006, 08:58 PM
That is a great idea :D About different positions :D I am for the idea

Maybe we can use this as a chat thread throughout all the year where Sugi fans get to know eachother better? I know I have your msn Matt, but I am seldom online unfortunately so we rarely get to speak.

For me, this is the few months of the year where I get to taste what a sane life is like :tape: and I miss my crazy life supporting tennis already. I am already longing for Australian Open and getting up at 4 in the morning and when I leave for school at 8 already being tired

AJZ.
Nov 17th, 2006, 11:54 PM
actually, we have NEVER spoken on MSN
which I find rather... hilarious

lmao, I cannot WAIT for the Australian season! It's so special, it's like, four weeks of intense tennis. everyone's rested and hungraaaaay to win.
I can't wait for the AO this year... I've got my reason, but I won't say it out loud... yet, not to jinx anyone :tape:

We should do some research on... army positions! or like, everyone creates their own? I dono, we've got a month and some days to figure that out... 2007, we invade wtaworld :armed:

-sugi-
Nov 18th, 2006, 09:04 AM
I know we haven't  But I rarely am online, like once or twice a month  Because I normally have my school friends constantly annoying me asking me questions if I go on msn :o

I know your reason  Does it involve doubles perhaps? ;)

sugifan
Nov 18th, 2006, 09:26 AM
yeah !! i like your ideas guys !! and the name "ai's army" is great !! "ai's clan" could be great too !!! and as you said getting to know better each others could be fun particularly during the off season and hey !! this is one of the aim of the net and msn i guess !!!!

sugifan
Nov 18th, 2006, 09:34 AM
.... army positions ???? i only know is "front line" or "canon fodder" , or "spy" ! and i guess the last one is more rewarding !! lol but the others are fine with me !! sacrifice is the duty of the army !!!

-sugi-
Nov 18th, 2006, 01:31 PM

AJZ.
Nov 19th, 2006, 02:57 AM
adam, you know it involves doubles  but this year, it's no mercy down under :armed:

hmm well, I don't think there are enough active sugi fans to fill all those positions, but that just gives everyone a higher rank so that's great!! :p

I went to watch pros play tennis (well, not professionals, but 3.0 to 3.5 calibre players) There were two (hot ) brothers playing, and they were just spectacular!!

it was a really fun night! and last night I stayed up until 3 AM to watch a Shanghai doubles semi :tape: Preperation for Australia, perhaps?

welll we walk from one pub to a nightclub opposite the school and we go through the Museum and its parc where they have things like fountains and fancy gardains and I was walking along the side steps talking to my friends and eventually walked into the hedge and slowly submerged into it :tape:

well I'm okay except the other day this guy asked me if I was gay and it really made me feel under attack and I said it was none of his business
thought it ended there, but no, it didn't
I was walking in the (empty) hallway behind him and his friend and he said "he's stalkign us now!"
and then he kept showing me to his friends ina creepy way, and like looking at me as if I was a freakshow
I don't get it, they don't even know me, these strangers...
there's a whole part of the school I won't even go to alone, because I'm afraid ...
It sucks, you know, stupid strangers.

AJZ.
Nov 23rd, 2006, 06:29 PM
oh congratulations :) That's really great. I had a chem test, and one question was "Did it absorb or give off heat?" roughly, and I was like... well... I don't know. the temperature went down, but my teacher screwed me all up, and I wrote absorb :tape: :help:

At least, you know, the positive point about my life right now is that everyone's going great. Now if only the hot guy in my bus would want to date me, then everythnig would be REALLY great ;)

Tennis lesson today :D and competitive tennis tonight :D I can't wait.

-sugi-
Nov 28th, 2006, 03:47 PM
How was your competitive tennis?

AJZ.
Nov 28th, 2006, 06:24 PM
oh it was lots of fun :D
I played doubles first with my friend Alex, but he was nervous and missed so many balls at net :help: and they knew he wasn't playing well so they aimed on him, and then by not hitting any balls I'd miss the first one they'd send me :help: And somehow I was two-handing my backhand volleys :o I get so nervous when I wait for the ball on that side! We lost 8-5, to the same team as the time before
In singles, I played against this incredibly assenine guy. He threw his racket three minutes into the match :help: He got 2 first serves in the entire match (albeit aces) and swore everytime he missed a shot. I didn't play well but I kept the ball in play long enough to get him to make a mistake  At least I was smart :)
The penultimate point, though - he aimed a ball RIGHT at my head. I moved at the last minute, if I hadn't I would have a huge bruise on my nose for sure... I shook his hand and looked at him in disdain. But I was happy, I won 8-5 :) The last point was really long, too, a long rally... he missed a volley :tape:

I can't wait for the next one, on the ninth :D My friends are coming to watch me! (well mostly because they want to see the hot guy I keep talking about XD His name's Nick... we're sort of friends, but he didn't talk to me Saturday  I guess he was P/Oed that he lost )

how are you?

That's too bad about smoking  Such a nasty habit; it's banned in bars here.
I can't wait for Saturday night :D
My friends are coming to watch me play competitive tennis :) from six to eight. Mostly because I keep talking about the hot guy there, lmao, but also because I talk about tennis non-stop (hey, it is a passion!!)

I'm so mad about Star Ocean. It's so hard, because I don't level up fast enough, and I just skip enemies because they're too hard and eventually will be INCREDIBLY underleveled :help: :help: :help: Sucks to be me :p

I think we should start planning Ai's Army so we can go into effect in 2007 :armed:
should we post a new thread? *scratches head* what do you think adam?

-sugi-
Dec 9th, 2006, 09:06 PM
Hey Matt :wavey:

I was at a party today, it was ok, nothing special.

About Ai's army, I think you should get the top header Volcanic Tennis and the rest of us can fight out for other places.

We also need to think of a way to make it look attractive with a certain font etc. Perhaps we can have a go experimenting here and then decide? And I think if we started a new thread for people to sign up would be easier if any newcomers wished to come and join.

TennisPlayingFox
Dec 9th, 2006, 10:51 PM
I think starting a new thread would be a good idea. Hey Sugi I think you should probably take the second spot since Matt is going to have the top spot. I don't really have any suggestions on what to do as far as font and stuff goes though.

AJZ.
Dec 10th, 2006, 01:32 AM
Hm.. what kind of font?

I don't know about who to be top spot, I think we're both as big fans... we're the only two on the forum that are AS insane about her LOL

-sugi-
Dec 10th, 2006, 01:22 PM
and I insist, you take top spot.

Thanks tennisplayingfox, you can get spot 3 I supose?

I mean with like a font that for example, let me try and browse some forums to get examples

AJZ.
Dec 10th, 2006, 05:07 PM
lmao XD It took me a while to understand that sentence but lmao

I'm so humbled that you'd give me the top spot!

Well, Japan's colors are Red and White... we could play on that? but the colors in your sig are nice too.

How about: ~Fighting for Ai's Army; Spy~
Currently fighting in: (insert tourney place here)
Next target: (next tourney)

The bad thing is that there are a lot of characters in the code (230) and that might not be appealing to people who want other stuff in their sig @_@ But I think it looks cool. Not sure about the blue though.

~Fighting for Ai's Army; Spy~
Currently fighting in: (insert tourney place here)
Next target: (next tourney)

The orange makes the violet look out of place @_@ Japan's White will just be impossible to read.

-sugi-
Dec 10th, 2006, 07:07 PM
I like the idea and the design, do you wish for me to create the sign up thread in here?

We need to establish the different ranks though, and we have to be careful if we include spy because Maria Sharapova's mafia :o have spies, so what shall the ranks be?

AJZ.
Dec 10th, 2006, 07:11 PM
Uh hm... Everyone could invent their rank? I don't know.

Ground Chief Of Staff
Lieutenant General
Major General
Colonel
Lieutenant Colonel
Major
Captain
First Lieutenant
Second Lieutenant
Warrant Officer
Sargeant Major
Sergeant First Class
Sergeant Second Class
Sergeant Third Class
Leading Private
Private First Classs
Private Second Class
Private Third Class
(You posted this Adam on page 1)

I think Ground Chief of Staff doesn't really sound important myself :tape: Thus:

Lieutenant General
Major General
Colonel
Lieutenant Colonel
Major
Captain
First Lieutenant
Second Lieutenant
Warrant Officer
Sargeant Major
Sergeant First Class
Sergeant Second Class
Sergeant Third Class
Leading Private
Private First Classs
Private Second Class
Private Third Class

and it can go through ancient-ness? I doubt we'll ever get to Private First Class  And they all sound pretty cool! So I'd be Lt. General and you'd be Mjr. General, and then yeah. What do you think??

And what do you think about the colors??

EDIT: Besides, Ai is the ground chief of staff of her army  And maybe our position can be colored as we want it?

-sugi-

Ai has a new diary entry  I love reading the google translation. You get the main idea one paragraph on two

Everyone today. Don't you think? in day it becomes cold in day.
When it is cold, moving the body, after scratching the sweat, the [me] [tsu] [chi] [ya] it becomes cold, it is, don't you think? the ~.
It entered into the season of main point note in cold.

Although the ~ [te], off season you say, even only you have not been able to have gone to bed.
Training was started from last week.
First training lodging together 4 days was united in order to forge the body which you rest slowly.
From 26 days to 29 days training at the Chiba aerobics center.
My other things junior of tennis academy of palm and from Korea 2 players
Mix train camp be be, but such camp in companion
Being indispensable absolutely, the shank.
With 1 people therefore without being able to make absolute, everyone and simultaneous it can persevere.
Encouraging being agreeable, it is something where you can overcome for the first time.
It is tremendous from 2nd day of camp of 4 days being myalgra, as for the form which gets off the stairway
It was awkward rather,….
Because such a after the camp ending 4 days you did not take is myalgra, don't you think? the ~,
The ^0^ which probably means that you call truly and the last spurt are possible
It is appreciation in the companion of the palm which trains together.
Of course even in the Sakuma trainer. Thank you.

For me as for fitting of the body those which are truly important. From various angles
With approach, as width of the thing which it is possible spread, you are moved.
Because is, now practicing the tennis, in the feeling where the nerve is spread in the body,
When moving the body, consciousness is easy to do, it is, don't you think?.
Practicing, you being conscious of your own body, move,
It is possible to get near to the method of striking the ideal. This is delightful truly.
Being full reality fully is. Because the element which is accustomed still well is Sawayama don't you think?.
In this time we would like to try in various things, is.

Now weekend “meeting of the fan”!! With present weather forecast was the feeling which is doubtful, but

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!! :woohoo:
It didn't feel like Christmas as of late, but when I woke up this morning, it did, it really really did. Last night I got my presents, and I didn't get anything special but they were all things I needed. :)
And a good Christmas present is that Tennis is restarting in a week :)

Merry Christmas everyone! Chirstmas was pretty fun. I had my grandparents over with us and there still here for a few more days. I got some pretty nice things. A DVD/VCR Recored/player (That was fun to type lol), Tales Of The Abyss for PS2, Venus Envy A tennis book written by Jon Wertheim about the 2000 season which is a really good book so far, and some other things.

AJZ.
Dec 26th, 2006, 05:23 AM
That's awesome TPF!!! :):) Tales of the Abyss is a game I'm considering getting in the near-future. I got FFXII !
We had family over, and it was the best Christmas with the little family :) I was the life of the party as per usual
My cousin's b/f read a story I wrote and said he's going to show a literature student  He says my stuff is better than some people who have Collegiate degrees  I'm so flabbergasted.

Dec 26th, 2006, 10:37 AM
merry christmas. I mainly got books and my tickets for Proximus Diamond Games, Saturday qualifing and two night sessions as I have school so can't attent day sessions during week :o

My favourite present was my nintendo wii :hearts:

-sugi-
Dec 26th, 2006, 02:21 PM
I got so much money for christmas, and my birthday and I have had a brilliant idea of what I will spend it on. I have my exams the two weeks on for Australian open but my personally last one is on Wednesday morning. After that, I am going to hopefully go to Tokyo and spend a few days there and then on Saturday and Monday go to the tennis. I will then fly back on Tuesday morning  as we have lots of the week after to relax. I have this all planned, I am just going to need to BEG my parents to let me go.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAH Hopefully I can go.

AJZ.
Dec 26th, 2006, 03:00 PM
I don't understand ^o) You're going to Tokyo to watch what tennis?
That would be awesome though, going to Tokyo :)
And it's awesome you got Antwerp tickets :hearts: IH ope your favorites play there!! Maybe Olga & Aiko in qualifying?
And you got a wii! I'm so jealous :p I'm actually just a tad jealous; FFXII should last me a while and there are still a bunch of older games I want to try out... of this generation. Next-gen can wait till post-China xD

I went to bed at 3 AM... I was chatting with a newfound friend... about everything and nothing. It was insane. I woke up at 10:30, and I feel rested :)

-sugi-
Dec 26th, 2006, 03:43 PM
The Tier I TORAY PAN PACIFIC OPEN of course ;)
Olga probably in qualifying, Aiko would probably play Bangalore :hearts: I was researching and I probably my birthday and christmas money won't be enough so money I put in my bank for when I am older and in need may have to help me out. My parents just said "Its your money do what you want" so this may go ahead although probably not :( There is always next year.

Yes, I got a wii. Wii tennis is so fun :D

AJZ.
Dec 26th, 2006, 04:43 PM
 I was like "He's talking about the Australian Open but in Tokyo?" and I was scratching my head
It might be better to wait until you have a little bit more cash :)
I want to play Twilight Princess :hearts: But Final Fantasy is more fun than I can handle right now  It has such a large world to just delve into and explore :hearts: It's a great RPG.

I think I might buy a webcam today. Boxing day - big sales. 10$ for a 60$ webcam or 30$ for an 80$ webcam

-sugi-
Dec 26th, 2006, 05:06 PM
LOOK IN THE PICTURE THREAD! I HAVE A CHRISTMAS PRESENT FOR YOU ALL IN THERE, THE LATEST PICTURE

I am going shopping tomorrow with my friends. I may buy a game for my wii but I might save my money lol. I guess if I can't go in 2007, there is 2008 :D

Twilight princess looks blah. I want Red Steel or Splinter Cell for my wii :) Do you have Gamecube or PS2?

AJZ.
Dec 27th, 2006, 04:57 AM
I have both  I'm anti XBOX.
Go to the Beijing Olympics :hearts: I want to go but it's unlikely.
Twilight Princess looks blah? It looks amazing in my opinion.

-sugi-
Dec 27th, 2006, 03:18 PM
Today my brother came back from university with his fiancee and gave me twilight princess as a present. It is quite good actually. We then went shopping and as we left the car park everyone was in apart from me who had problems opening the back seat to get in and my dad started driving and drove over my foot :o so now I can barely walk and no sport for me for a long time :crying2: I remember being in so much pain.

But on a good side, they decided that a trip to Tokyo to see my grandmother and some tennis after my exams would be good for me and will try to book tickets later tonight and see if it is possible. Hopefully I see Ai and give a good report :D

AJZ.
Dec 27th, 2006, 04:12 PM
 That's so ... horrible!!!!!! My goodness. That sent a shiver down my spine >_<

It would be awesome if you could go :) Tennis always does us wtaworld freaks good  I can't wait for Montreal 2007 ( hopefully it's really hot and they all practice shirtless  :p)

I have black spots under my eyes because I'm not sleeping enough... went to bed late chatting two nights in a row. And my heart's broken again... this guy says to me he can't be with me, but then we talk and he says a bunch of things that make me think otherwise so I ask him what's going on and he says to me "I want to be with you, but you're just too great, I'd rather be your friend so I don't risk losing you..." It almost made me cry >_<

-sugi-
Dec 27th, 2006, 07:06 PM

I have a new year party soon at my friend's house :yippee:

AJZ.
Dec 28th, 2006, 03:04 AM
From school; he's two grades below me, but he's only a year and two months younger. But he seems like my age, it's so weird... Age is just a number, I think.
So bored right now... Spent the entire day with him, and my two friends. It was so much fun, but my friends are freaked out because I was touchy-feely with all of them today
And tomorrow; tennis lesson + work, and then friday work + new year's party, and then saturday tennis lesson + work... ahah, and then new year's eve!! Which is also the eve of season 2007 :)

cool :) some of my friends went out to town and were out all night and one of them went to hospital because he got so drunk he was unconcsious. I went instead to my friends house with a few friends and she has a really big garden with greenhouse, woods, caravan so we just sat in the caravan and occasionally in the house and played games and things and drank alcohol.

Nice avatar :)
I'm worried about Ai & Dani's chances in Australia :o They both played so bad in singles, maybe they'll be in poor doubles form too

Tomorrow, I'm going for blood tests in the morning, and then going to eat breakfast at a restaurant, and then going to hit tennis balls (had a lesson today, I was playing :hearts:) and then going to work. After that I'm going to a party :) I'm so anxious. I've been a good boy for too long  :p

-sugi-
Jan 4th, 2007, 07:06 AM

I can't wait for Friday

Last friday before exams, I don't know whether to get pissed or not.

I am kind of worried about my friend. He is really clever and a hard worker well used to be but he goes out to the pub every night and comes back in the morning school starts and starts to smoke and all kinds of things now. We used to be really good friends and I went with Hasselt to him and Roland Garros because he also likes tennis. He is supposed to come with my to Antwerp on Friday night but no doubt he will want to go to the pub so I will need a new tennis partner to come with me :( And lots of people who I normally would ask are leaving for vacation that night or whatever :(

-sugi-
Jan 10th, 2007, 07:03 PM
Anyway, I will tell you what I was upset about the other day.

We are leaving Belgium and going to England to live. I have never lived in England despite being 3/4 English yet when I visit, I hate it. It is such a hole and I really don't fit in. Here in Belgium, I actually am not top of class at lessons and lots of academic competitions and I have loads of friends here and am actually considered popular  Its not like I have ever been bullied in my life, yet I always just had a small close group of friends but not here. I really don't want to go. My grandmother lives in Japan and I tried to drop a hint that she would enjoy us living near to her as I would love to live there, but my parents weren't having any of it.

AJZ.
Jan 14th, 2007, 01:40 AM
Aww.. So basically you're upset than you want to move to Japan, but they won't let you?
By the way, do you speak any French? If you live in Belgium that is, there IS a chance
I'm so tired. My Goodness. Today I worked and played tennis (I won 10-5 in doubles and lost 12-1 in doubles but it was such fun, I'm getting better :)) but yesterday after school I worked from 4 to 8 and went to a party where I wentr to bed at 2 and woke up at seven so I'm so exhausted it's not even funny :o

And tomorrow I get to work on a dissertation and an assignement in Career Choice Education... woo...hoo? It'll fill my time between waking up and AO start though!!!

-sugi-
Jan 14th, 2007, 08:18 AM

-sugi-
Jan 15th, 2007, 04:24 PM
Bah. My Chemistry exam was average, I revised really hard on some aspects but not on others and it will probably show. I predict a mark in the 70's which will be a B probably :o A real let down when I got 95% recently on a Chemistry test and my teacher was really proud of me :o

How was it following livescores last night Matt?

I overslept, I slept in my caravan in the garden and didn't wake up till 7:30 and my immediate though was "THE TENNIS!" so I quickly ran into my house to be greeted by Baghdatis vs Schuettler :)

AJZ.
Jan 15th, 2007, 08:03 PM
 I watched tennis from eleven to four Australian time, it was really good :) Roddick's tiebreaker gave me a heartattack though! :o It was really great.
Then I followed Ai's first set, It was so exciting! But then I was supposed to be asleep, thus I didn't follow the second set much (I followed by games, Every change over I'd go check)

It was lots of fun :) Tonight, I cannot wait either!

-sugi-
Jan 17th, 2007, 05:14 PM
ah tennis lesson today :) Sooo fun
I beat this arrogant fuck 61 60 :) :woohoo: I really hate that kid and he was throwing his racket :) I am a pusher I must admit, I am in quite good shape so chase the ball down lots yet rarely go for winners. But I was very happy today :D

3 exams today - English, Japanese and French. All went very well
I see Baghdatis lost

AJZ.
Jan 17th, 2007, 07:02 PM
Poor Baghy. But it's good for Richie Rich! :)

Good tennis these past days. I'd only change Jie and Ai's losses to make it perfect :o I hope the rest is as good!

-sugi-
Jan 17th, 2007, 07:07 PM
Marcos is one of my favourite men with Nole and Jarkko  Really disapointed

Aiko beat Daniilidou losing only 4 game so I was happy with that. Now hopefully she can beat that overrated bitch Mirza and I will be happy :)

AJZ.
Jan 17th, 2007, 07:25 PM
I hope Aiko can win too :) I want to see her play Martina Hingis (if she wins too!!)

I'm so nervous about their match versus Golovin/Molik

-sugi-
Jan 19th, 2007, 08:25 PM
My first grades back from the exams

Japanese 98% :yippee: :woohoo:

English Language 95%
Chemistry 92%

and to put a dampner on my celebrations - Physics 62%
My teacher was giving me a lecture that I didn't try or study hard enough for Physics. I wanted to get into medicine in the future and I need to do all 3 sciences and I am good at Chemistry and Biology but struggle with Physics  Really annoyed about that.

AJZ.
Jan 20th, 2007, 12:05 AM
Oh ouch  Physics is really hard. It's different from chemistry, biology and math... It's a lot more abstract in my opinion.

My boss stuck me an 8:00-11:15 shift on Thursday night... I wake up at 5:30 to go to school (my bus passes at 6:30) And she's like can you do it for just that one night? I mean what are you, nuts? It takes me a half-hour to get prepped for bed, a half-hour to fall asleep, and as luck would have it, I'll probably have an exam the day after. I'm really mad at her!!!

in other news, I can't wait to watch Safin/Roddick  Good tennis, hot men, two of my favorite players, similar styles... DROOL. :)

-sugi-
Jan 20th, 2007, 06:38 AM
Eurgh, Safin behaved like an ass in that match :o

I should start studying for Biology cos I need a good grade for it but its 8:37 in the morning :)

AJZ.

I think Andy has a shot at winning this whole thing ;) Or at least troubling the Fed :armed:

I'm watching Peer/Kuznetsova. Kuznetsova looks so discouraged and ticked off, it ticks me off. She makes it seem like Peer is doing nothing to win it :tape:

I'm so nervous about Hantuyama's match tonight... I hope Dani's not too tired

-sugi-
Jan 21st, 2007, 06:17 PM
Do you like Blake Matt?

I can't stand him, his games, his apparently good looking looks and the way he plays is so over rated

I hope Shiho Akita and Ai Yamamoto can do well in the Junior girls event :) Emiko Ito lost and Ayumi won :)

AJZ.
Jan 21st, 2007, 06:21 PM
He's not good looking, he's on a high horse, he's always thought he's all it and he's arrogant -> I don't like him. the fact that everyone seems to bugs me as well.

I hope Sharon Fichman and Ayumi do well ;) Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova is pretty cool too. How old is Pavlyuc...kova?

I can't wait for tennis to come on in a few minutes :) Yesterday's matches. With any luck they'll show Mauresmo/Safarova and Serena/Jankovic, but I feel they'll show Ancic/Roddick again :o I've seen it...! on livestream but still.

I can't wait for tonight's live matches too!

-sugi-
Jan 21st, 2007, 06:26 PM

Thats what I feel about Blake, I went to Davis Cup vs Belgium in 05 to a stadium a 20 minute bus ride from my house I had a great day and then when James Blake won his match and was signing autographs he kept saying "Thankyou" "thankyou" I hope he loses soon :(

I ALSO REAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLY HATE ANDY MURRAY :(

AJZ.
Jan 21st, 2007, 06:28 PM

Andy Murray I don't care for, but I don't hate him. He has a nice game. I don't like his attitude on court though. He should watch and learn from Ai

hehe... I'm Vince, btw. Nice to meet y'all!

I hope that she plays till then guys!! If she plays until Olympics 2008, I might get to see her again in Montreal! (I'm still trying to convince my parents to bring me to Flushing Meadows this summer... I'm using Ai as my reason )

Hope you can make it to the US open this year. That event is awesome.
When I was in college there, I brought my racket with my teammate one year, and we just happened to hit some balls on the court there, and Greg Rusedski offered me to hit with him for a bit. That was awesome!!

Hopefully this year, I am going to Indian Wells, San Diego and LA (Beckham is right there! :p )

AJZ.

Nice to meet you

My mom tells me it's cool, she went last year. But she won't bring me because it's a trip with a bunch of old women! And I'm mad, because I'm a bigger tennis fan than all of them... so I should get the chance to go too! She'd let me go off on my own and it'd be all okay, I'm sure...

You hit with Greg Rusedski? Wow... that must've been awesome :hearts:

Hey Vince :wavey:

I'm Adam :yeah:
I have Antwerp QF this Friday :yeah: Then Gifu, Roland Garros and then I will try to go to Rosmalen and hopefully Wimbledon quallies since my exams will be over and I have 4 months doing nothing :o

Then if it is on in the summer 25k Nagoya :rocker2: and possibly the AIG Open. It is kind of pathetic how far ahead I am planning my tournaments. I have already planned my 2008 tournaments :tape:

AJZ.
Feb 13th, 2007, 08:40 PM
LMAO  I could only go to Montreal, and I'm not old enough to drive but I'd go down to Toronto for a day or so if I were... US Open is next closest. Other than Quebec City ^o)

I used to work right next to Ai before (Tampa), and I almost killed Greg by my golfcart... oops... :p

Adam, you live/study in Japan now!?

I always hear the tournament in Montreal is nice!
I bet there are some challenger class tournaments too right??

-sugi-
Feb 14th, 2007, 05:29 PM
No, currently I'm in Belgium :) It is nice here and I don't complain as I only have less than an hour drive to many tournaments

AJZ.
Feb 14th, 2007, 06:19 PM
I don't know about challengers... I know there's one in Saguenay soon, which isn't that far, but I don't know how to drive

Valentine's Day today. Great day at school, but my heart is breaking. I try not to let it get to me :)

I just came back from the program in Hawai'i (right next to the Univ of Hawai'i)... I saw him a few times on campus. We tried to invite him into our program to talk...but he was super shy!!!

Are you from Belgium, Adam? Not Japanese yeah?

AJZ.

Okonomiyaki?

Happy belated Valentine's Day!

Meh, I wish that me and the boy could get together but... as I keep going, I realize we're better off friends.

I've developped the anti-feelings technique, where I read with every spare moment I have in order to forget my feelings for him :tape: It's more or less working  I'm going to read Othello next

Hola, Adam!! :wavey:

Hehe, personally I only know Ai from Hopman Academy where I used to work.

I check their blogs often...You can find Erika's here at http://www.40love.jp/takao_e/

She's from Chiba... Her company (same as Rika Fujiwara) just won the Japan's Company tennis league last week.
From Rika's diary entry, they including Erika went to sing Karaoke for 5 hours!!! Seems like Erika is a good singer!

Sawadee krup, Oaki! Long time! :wavey:
I was in Bangkok in December!!!

Yey, Ai won the singles and dubs too!
I am wondering the story about being with Dani...
We should figure out soon enuf, I hope.

Feb 20th, 2007, 05:56 PM
oh I had a tennis match today. In the morning I rank 8km :tape:

then I realised I had a tennis match at 14:15
I finished my run by 10:00 so hung around home trying to get in the right mindset for this match. I have played this guy twice before, winning 63 62 and on my last match against him over the summer 60 60.

But today, I served poorly, moved poorly, had horrible groundstrokes. Everything was just :tape: For the second set I failed to hold serve. I play on clay courts and this was on an artificial grass court so it took time to adjust to the surface. But at 3-2 in the third and final set I raised my level of play and won 64 46 63 :) Phew.

AJZ.
Feb 20th, 2007, 06:17 PM
Wow, good job Adam ;)

Ai won dubs :woohoo: and singles too!

It is nice to see more faces

My friend got real mad at me today. This girl in our class came over to ask for help in chemistry, so my friend helps her for a half-hour. But this girl ONLY talks to us for help. So I said after, "You should've asked her for 4$ as tutor fees." And my other friend lost it and started calling me arrogant, greedy and self-centered. I help random people, you know, answer their questions, but a half-hour is a long time you can spend doing something else... I mean, I doubt I'd have the guts to ask for four dollars but still, it saddens me that she thinks those things of me  I'm not a bad guy...

I participated in a math contest today  I'm such a nerd. The questions were rough, stuff like: Find how many triple digit numbers that have only even digits and retain this when they're multiplied by two (i.e., 420, which becomes 840, is an exemple)

Most of the questions were bogus hard

-sugi-

I represented my school in a chemistry contest last year :tape: I was supposed to do maths and we would travel to Vienna for it but I didn't in the end

Aww that's too bad

I've got some homework to do... in French, and then in Physics, and finally in math... but it's nothing too major. But I never feel like doing homework these days... It's strange. I've changed ^o)

I want to start reading Othello soon. :nerd:

My favourite shakespeare is The Taming Of The Shrew

Whenever I am with my friend Faye in London, we always go to the globe  We went twice last year for school and we loved it so much, we both are history and drama students

I also love Titus Andronicus, we saw that on my drama trip and another of my friends collapsed when the woman lost her tongue and hands

Bloody stuff.

AJZ.
Feb 20th, 2007, 07:31 PM

I want to go to the Globe one day!

-sugi-
Feb 20th, 2007, 07:40 PM
Its great

Lots of people hated it but the intellectuals loved it  We then went to St. Pauls cathedral later that day. :)

So how is it going with you and that boy?

AJZ.
Feb 20th, 2007, 08:56 PM
Aw, well, not so great.

I'm leaving in 12 days for China, and he's coming with me, and he's my room mate and everything... So I'm trying to phase out these emotions between now and then, buriying (sp?) myself in work and reading.

At the end of the day, I realize one thing: you can't make someone want you... you can't make someone fall in love. They just fall... and here, I fell, he didn't, and that's life. But I've got *such* a good friend in him that I MUST get over these feelings, let them go, so that I can move on and keep having him just as a friend!

And yet, he say so to me: If you want, I'll kiss you in China... because I kept telling him that I wanted to kiss him. I don't know what will happen there...

-sugi-
Feb 26th, 2007, 09:54 AM
I hope it works out for you :awww:

I hope you don't mind me asking but is the boy you like gay as well?

AJZ.
Feb 26th, 2007, 06:18 PM
He's bisexual and young... So who knows.

But meh, I'm over it. If he'd date anyone it woudl be my friend, and my friend wouldn't be able to take us dating anyways so it's doomed. LOL.

I'm sad about Ai's injury... I mean, she was playing so well and then... So many points lost, too... She'll drop to #24... and she was so close to getting back into the top 20! Now she's 100 points off  And she's got like, 4R in IW & QF in Miami to defend... I hope it's not serious...

But on the plus side, I'm going to China in five days :woohoo: I cannot wait... but in the mean time, I've got all my work to be caught up with everyone else

 SO what did you do?

AJZ.
Mar 19th, 2007, 03:12 PM
Visited a dozen temples that all look alike (it's a shame the guides were all so hard to understand), bargained some stuff on the streets, had a blast just walking around taking in the sights... the food was really really good, I'll miss that a lot!

-sugi-
Mar 19th, 2007, 09:14 PM
My brother is coming home from hospital tomorrow :) You may remember me having that conversation Matt right away after he was taken in the ambulance and I was so worried.

BTW Matt, how are you and that guy? (If you don't mind me asking)

AJZ.
Mar 19th, 2007, 09:43 PM
what did he have finally?

Er, we're on neutral territory. He'll just stay a friend... :notsure: LOL.

-sugi-
Mar 19th, 2007, 09:47 PM
He had meningitis. If the septicemia sp? spread around the body he would have lost all his limbs. Thank god it was stopped and he didn't lose anything. My friends have been so nice though

I went to a great party on Saturday :) I made out with the girl I like :) And another friend starting kissing me randomnly :tape: She wasn't at school today. Probably for the best. It was 10 minutes after I finally made a move on the girl and it was on the trampoline outside the exact same place. :tape: :tape: :tape:

Mar 20th, 2007, 09:58 AM
oh my god... poor you and your poor brother... thank god he'll be all right... my god..

Wow, that's good ;)

My trip to China changed me... weirdly, because it did at once and didn't too. I'm now going to enjoy every last day with my friends... only three months and then life will change. Graduation..

-sugi-
Mar 20th, 2007, 04:19 PM
Where are you going when you graduate? University?

AJZ.
Mar 20th, 2007, 06:14 PM
In Quebec there is something called "Cegep", where you choose a program for two years (but it's still quite general), and then you go to university (four years). Or you can skip all that, and just do a three-year program called a "technique", which is like plumbing, carpenter, police, etc.

And I'm doing Cegep in Health Science... I'm scared about physics and chemistry, because my teacher in high school just sucks ... and I have trouble with it. I've always been good with math, really good, but I'm starting to have trouble with trigo functions >> I guess I just have to work harder :)

-sugi-
Mar 20th, 2007, 10:53 PM
Good luck

I am having problems choosing what courses I want. I think Media, English, Biology and Tudor History but I don't know :(

BTW, I will be in Japan at the time of the Gifu cup. Gifu is less than 20 minute train ride away, Maybe I can go to see Moriyama :)

AJZ.
Mar 20th, 2007, 11:22 PM
So she's really playing Gifu? When is that?

Did you see the doubles draw in Miami? It's SO packed. I wish I were going to that tournament, all the doubles matches seem so good!

Srebotnik/Sugiyama vs. Hingis/Hantuchova ... I wish they'd televise. I love all of them!!

-sugi-

Mar 21st, 2007, 09:31 PM
 For my english homework we had to write "A Speech for a hero" Here is my final piece :tape: I quite like it. I sound like a maniac.

To arms! The time has come, not for honour, not for sorrow, not for bravery but for war. We fight to rid ourselves of men we do not even know. We fight to take the lives of thousands of soliders. Men they are but no longer shall they be. The only thing we can give these people is the embrace of steel. Bear their souls to the Heavens mighty Gods for we shall send them there. We go to battle. Go forth and remember you are human, you too shall die one day! To the darkness, for Death's touch!

Aaah I have a date tomorrow :hearts: She's this girl I liked since September, but we are going out as friends. I have decided, before I leave Belgium I will tell this girl how I feel about her

Then on Friday (Although 2 months early) I have my leaving party - just a small group of my friends and myself sitting in a field having a picnic :awww:

Matt, how can you tell someone how I feel about them? I get too nervous.

AJZ.
Apr 4th, 2007, 08:21 PM
I'm not that good... I've only done it on MSN, the worst way possible.
I've only really done it twice, though - once on MSN, and once on paper during a class.

And well, it's hard, but just... try it :) It can work wonders :)

I'm so well at the moment. My marks are sky high... and I love this time of year because of everyone talks about me. I'm known by most of my grade but I don't know most of my grade

I heard the best song last night on American Idol. I almost cried... "Smile" by Charlie Chaplin. It's soooo great.

And I'm trying to patch things up with a friend I've kind of lost touch with.

-sugi-
Apr 4th, 2007, 08:23 PM
Who's your favourite on American Idol this year?

I :hearts: Jordin and Haley - they are my favourites.

AJZ.
Apr 5th, 2007, 12:17 AM
Melinda. All the way. Since I first heard her in the auditions.
But I like almost everyone now - my second favorite is Chris Richardson, then Blake/Jordin/Haley/Gina.

-sugi-

What about Lakisha? I like her too ;)

AJZ.
Apr 5th, 2007, 12:53 PM
Lakisha's not bad... Sanjaya is horrible :o

Gina left  I really liked her performance. Haley was in the bottom 2 again, I don't get that either ...

-sugi-
Apr 7th, 2007, 07:37 PM
Matt, why are girls so difficult?

Yesterday I had my leaving party. My friends and I walked through the forest and had a picnic and it was really nice. I was getting on fine with the girl I like, we walked together holding hands ;) and then my Canadian friend took a picture of us together commenting that we looked like a couple and for the rest of the day she was really cold  My other friend Eleni thinks it is because she realises she likes me, she is always saying how she intends to not get married or hav a boyfriend so she can have a career but I don't know  Oh well two week break and hopefully everything will be fine untill I return to school.

-sugi-
Apr 7th, 2007, 07:38 PM
Oh and how is your love life and that boy?

AJZ.
Apr 7th, 2007, 09:21 PM
Oh poor Adam
Women are strange sometimes. Men too :p I honestly don't know... maybe she'll open her eyes? Hope you're not sad...

My love life is non-existent  I haven't talked to him in three weeks and I feel as if our close friendship evaporated ever since my trip to China. He was there with me, but I don't know, since then it's been different.

My life is so dull as of late

AJZ.
Apr 7th, 2007, 09:29 PM
BTW, do you like Utada Hikaru?
I saw a performance of Simple and Clean live on Youtube, and I have to say, I had goose bumps, it's the best I've ever heard of her.
I'm a big fan of her work

-sugi-
Apr 8th, 2007, 09:26 AM
I'm officially becoming a monk and will be celebate for the rest of my life

I like Utada Hikaru, my favourite by her is "Keep Trying." However, I prefer other J-Pop like Zone, MARIA, Hitomi Yaida and Ai Otsuka

AJZ.
Apr 8th, 2007, 06:56 PM
A monk  You gave me a good chuckle.
I wanted to be a priest when I was younger :tape: because I was not so sure about sex :tape:
Children are the weirdest thing

I'm going to buy more RAM for my computer so I can play World of Warcraft again :)

-sugi-
Apr 8th, 2007, 07:51 PM
OMG you don't play world of warcraft do you?
My friend Will plays it literally like 24/7
He refuses to go out because he wants to play it :tape:

Why were you not so sure about sex?

AJZ.
Apr 9th, 2007, 04:38 AM
long story, but anyways

yeah, I know  I'm just so bored these days... it's to fill the gaps...

ah, I'm so depressed. I was at my grandparents and their life is so boring and dull and they have no one but each other it really deppresses me...

-sugi-
Apr 13th, 2007, 07:22 AM
Matt, do you like Frank Dancevic? He has recently became one of my favourite players

AJZ.
Apr 13th, 2007, 02:25 PM
I hate to be nationalist but yeah :p
He has a nice serve... I really support his endeavors to climb up the rankings. Lost a heartbreaker 11-9 in the fifth set in Davis Cup lately.
When he qualified for Wimbledon, that was like sooo cool and when he won a main draw match at AO... :worship: Even won a set off of Hewitt.

-sugi-
Apr 13th, 2007, 02:40 PM
I became a fan during his match against Gonzalez at Indian Wells :) I was really impressed by him

Do you like him for another reason ;) (how he looks?)

AJZ.
Apr 14th, 2007, 01:05 AM
He's okay looking, but I like him because he's Canadian first and foremost  And I do like the games of the men I like :p
