This is the only major title she is missing from her fantastic tennis career profile....... Same as Federer missing that French Open title from his profile!!! She even wins the Olympic gold medal which you can only achieve once in every 4 years!!! (Even Federer didn't win it!!)

I really wish that Justine will win Wimbledon in 2007! She definitely has the game to do it!!

Allez Justine!! Allez Justine!!

yeah it would be nice 2 see her win wimbledon 2 complete her set of grand slam trophies. she's nearly done the lot & i'm sure that she will be even more determined than ever 2 win wimbledon in the next few years or maybe even next year in an attempt 2 join 2 go down as one of the absolute legends in tennis even further.

Maybe Maria Sharapova can win it she showed a solid game in the end of this year and she has all the qualities to win on grass.

true, maria loves playin on the grass & she's a consistent performer on the surface. williams sisters r still threats too u no & they could throw a spanner in the works. amelie too could make it hard as well as other like kim i hope.

I don't like this little Belgian.

But she's a great player, the best for nearly 3 years now. Just to repeat it.

Maria played better the Henin in Grand Slams in the last 3 years except The Roland Garros where Henin dominate. Henin played less Grand Slams than Maria Because of the injuries but "Overall " in the last 3 years who was more constant in results, Maria or Justine?

It's not a shame she didn't win it. Amelie just happened to be better on the day. Nothing else.

I do believe Justine definitely has the game to win it though, as much as I hate to admit it. :o

'constant', 'consistent'... that doesn't really count.
These words are usually excuses for missing success.
History and I prefer _final_ success above everything.
Hardenne was the best for the last years.
But Sharapova is young.

Well, only Graf has won everything (4 slams, masters, Fed Cup AND the Olympics)

Justine is 1 win away (Wimbledon).

Justine is probably going to be in the same league as Seles with regards to career (so after Graf, Martina and Chris) in the Open Era.

Euh, Justine off course.

4 slam finals against 1

Who is the best then ?

Her loss to Amelie at Wimbledon was the one that hurt me the most, especially after playing such a good first set. Amelie did a great job in recovering by changing her tactics which turned the match around, which gave her a much deserved victory. Justine has a good shot at winnling Wimbledon in 07, hopefully, she will do so.

It was more the serve of Amelie. It was soo good in the 3rd set.

i'm sure she will win it one day (why not in 2007?)

And why not not play RG once to be fit for wimbly?
It's good to have always some aims :)

Justine's head is what beat her in that Wimbledon final, there is always one service games of hers that she loses her concentration. In that case, it happened in the 3rd set against Mauresmo and you just cannot do that anymore in the women's game, and she knows this.

To say that Justine "maybe is good enough to win Wimbledon someday" is just a bunch of cr*p. Reaching the finals twice, has good mobility and a potent serve makes her one of the favorites every year for this championships when she healthy. It's just that people are still lingering from her RG victory 2 weeks ago that they overlook her when Wimbledon rolls around.

Now that's she's won YEC, she will def. gun for Wimbledon now no ifs ands and buts. When she wants something, she goes after it...same goes with RG, Olympics, and the YEC. Now, its only Wimbledon that is left.

Amelie was just the better player the whole damn week beating Ivanovic, an in-form Myskina and Sharapova in 2 straight 3 setters and was playing doubles until she got her thigh strain but kept her trap shut about it and won the finals
it's done and over with
get over yourselves already
Amelie>Justine on grass:worship:
but Henin does have the game to win W and that's a fact:wavey: :wavey:
