Just thinking what would make 2007 a great year and an injury free year would be great, Serena and Venus coming back and playing a full season and reaching the top 5 again would be amazing. I would also Clijsters to suddenly get that fire in her belly again and thus puts off retirement for another few years. I would also love Maria to regain the number 1 spot at some point.

The thing that would absolutly make my year would be Anna making a return to the game, I would love her to start with the AO doubles tournament with Martina, they would get to at least the quarters, this would help build up Anna's confidence. Then after a few doubles tournaments she would start playing lower tiered singles events which would also help build her confidence. Obviously her comeback won't be as strong as Martina's was but if she made a good go at it I would be happy.

If Anna was coming back next year, we would know about it, because she'd be in heavy training now, instead of playing exhibitions with former President George Bush.

Didn't she say she wanted to cam back to play Dubs w/Marti next year?

I don't think it's happening but I remember hearing it! I would love it if Hingis played a bit more dubs next year, even just mixed in the slams. It really helps her timing at net.

My perfect 2007 would include an injury-free year with Lindsay winning a fourth slam either at Wimbledon or the U.S. Open. If that could not happen, I would also like Kim to regain the "fire in her belly" so that she will play for longer. Either one would be great, but I would prefer the fourth slam. :bounce:
